  1. Was the same in Coronation street.... Thats why it should have been tied side to side, looks like a poorly thought out quick fix,the last thing you want on a bridge is spread......unless it Lurpack and its on the maintainance gangs bait.
  2. Its got everyone talking of the lack of good manners in modern society, they are working on addressing that....:)
  3. Well if you O gauge guys are lucky the next one might be another 88,they like electrics.........or a military model of a gun.
  4. The worry is the linkbetween the old to teach the young has been broken and in all walks of life the system is faiing as qualification is put before skill and ability, remember scotsman after it 2 million plus NRM rebuild and Dick Hardy pointed out the frame was cracked.Britain as a country is on a sticky wicket as career politics bites all walks of life deeper. The old track gangs would have spotted this long before now,but i guess in the past it would have been tied side to side.
  5. The as built green jobbies are on boat here or just arrived as far as im aware,no one has any yet so your safe. Its the final batch of run one.
  6. And it fits the current 00 loco box size i guess, hoping this does well for you.
  7. Short of being on site to see first hand it looks like the parapet is a concrete structure added ontop of the stone origional structure and it not tied side to side,i take it the other side has the same but its stayed in place, and its spread off to the side. To be honest the stone structure has stood the test of time but the newer work to add the parapet is breaking the donkeys back without the side to side support.Looks a poorly thought out idea to support line is failing and they have caught it in time. Where is Stephenson and Brunel when we need them.
  8. Good lord,we need a OO announcement to stop the sheep posts,to many and we will be dozing off............ theres too many 37s on the site to buy so its not all make more as i missed out.
  9. Thats why they are asking over £500 as one has sold for that, its better than bank interest,no ones making them buy.
  10. Must pop to Beamish and see whats left they have not made there............
  11. Just use one out of an old record player and tape it to roof, will be ace if its a Bose or Bang and Olufsen
  12. I have found the DCC concepts rolling road is handy for checking wheel pick up as you can insulate differing rollers with tape over the track on differing wheels, would be easier than lifting the tender up.
  13. Have you checked in the tender as it sounds like its dead shorting through the tenders wheels, are they to ground or reversed in polarity?
  14. No one want to vote for the lost one 60006 then,it tends to be whats no more that becomes popular.
  15. Do what @Graham108 has said or im sure they will do sound chip and speaker kit like they do for other locos they have done, best to order the exclusive models soon as they are only from them, heres hoping you are lucky.
  16. Just goes to show how sucessfull @DRS Crewe On A Mission is,way to go Danny. The trick is getting it right for all concerned as you dont want to buy something that is worthless after a few years as the market is knee deep in them, some of the retailers are discounting more heavily to release slow moving stock, just getting the balance right.
  17. Well now we have a lifetimes supply of must have 66,s on the horizon we should have a top five pole to help out the next batch of what we would like to see made. I personally think that doing the Hatton ones again so soon is a waste of production time and effort so how about it....... A Maritime one 66419 to have a correct G&W 66721 66794 66850 so we have a correct Colas whats your wishlist?
  18. Drat,it must have been the one i wanted, win some loose some, enjoy your purchase.
  19. Thanks John,i just rememberd you having the motors apart on the 66.as for loft floor i built and laid it myself or it would have been a model of the Licky incline,as spirit level to a builder must be a sign to the level of intoxication.
  20. A snip if your name is Edward........ Out of interest Fran what do you use for test and on your own layout in the towers ,sounds like a 15 volt, 5 amp smoothed supply is required?
