  1. This is what has happened to my incorrectly coloured 66623.
  2. very happy with mine. Just the GMPTE logos that require changing as stated above.
  3. A very good question and something I intend to research myself. I am aware that Orange GMPTE 142s certainly strayed into the Calder Valley, so I suspect these also will have worked in West Yorkshire too.
  4. https://realtrackmodels.co.uk/index.php?route=product/category&path=59_99
  5. 413 is the pale orange one in the real Freightliner fleet, The body of 623 is incorrect for the renumber I am told by more knowledgeable people than myself. Thats why my 623 is destined to become something completely different once repainted.
  6. Following on from my previous post earlier in the week I am pleased to say my rake of Tops version MDVs has now arrived. Once they are weathered I can't wait to see them with on my layout hauling scrap. I have decided to to use them for a different purpose having already either acquired or pre-ordered substantial rakes of HEAs HAAs and PFAs for Coal workings.
  7. Both is also open to interpretation. Not all three then? My post mentioned 3 possibilities, Other 37 variants, Other Locos and other Rolling Stock. I suppose as the big man said 2 out of 3 aint bad
  8. Initially my interpretation of the comment above was to conclude it mean't other variants of the 37 were in production, having read the whole post again I am now inclined to think other models refers to perhaps other locos and other stock. Can you clarify this for us?
  9. I am finding it strange that smaller retailers have these wagons in stock yet the big 3, Hattons, Rails and Kernow don't seem to have them yet according to their websites. I missed out on the tops versions direct from Accurascale because I was late getting my order in. I am hoping I haven't ordered these from a retailer that ultimately can't supply them.
  10. I am switching Station signs too to something more traditional looking rather than the Northern Rail signs that were previously in place. This style of sign are still present today in some places and were also present many years ago.
  11. The biggest casualty of my multi era approach to CN is the removal of what was the modern DMU sidings. I really liked this part of the layout and so do many others. Having said that the bigger picture means that it would just not look right in the BR blue era. this means that the cleaning platform, the red walkways and the rows of LED lights have had to go. Something more fitting of an era that may span from 1975 to current day will go into that space.
  12. Good to see this announcement, timed perfectly to coincide with BR an era coming to my layout. I will wait for further information about sound fitted versions before ordering. I can definitely see 3 or more of these arriving at Chesborough North.
  13. A few changes are taking place at CN. I am trying to take a multiple era approach to the layout, allowing anything from BR blue to current day to run on the layout. Detailed planning is underway for this to take place and progress shots will be posted as I go along. Andrew Jebb builder of both CN v1 and CN v2 says I am going through a midlife crisis. Most of Andy’s excellent work will remain in place. Sadly there will be a few casualties along the way including parts of the layout in modern CN that I love. The track plan will remain unchanged on both the scenic and fiddle yard sections.
  14. and another one, I have just received the last 4 so my Steel Coil rake will now be 10 x JSA 3 x BLA and 2 x BZA
  15. Outstanding wagons, A long rake of these are a thing of beauty. one of the best purchases I ever made
