Can anyone clarify if the boxes containing sound fitted versions are marked DCC Sound?

I don't think the majority on here would want you to refrain from posting your thoughts on this subject. I have not received my Deltics yet so I don't yet have an opinion myself. I for one will always be interested to read your views and I know your agenda here Is nothing other than genuine.

Have you ordered crew figures Roy, I have merged my Deltic orders and when I had a web chat with Stephen I established my order is going to be dispatched along with the crew figures next week.

They are dealing with the issue on the my account section of the website. Relax it will get sorted out.

I had exactly the same, I have spoken to Accurascale and they are aware of the issue and dealing with it.

From the email update A bit more information on the next batch of ‘Skinhead’ Class 24s is also overdue but we are sensitive to the fact that we don’t want to list too much on our website until product starts coming through… Unless you are you OK with this, knowing more models are forthcoming but will have to take their place in our backed-up production queue? Does anyone know time period 37027 Loch Eil carried the white stripe as seen on the Accurascale model. From the photographs I have seen it would seem to be limited to 1983.

Just wondering did Deltics always have a 2 man crew? or would it be appropriate to just have a driver in some of the Deltics?

There are two versions of KOYLI available, One of them represents how it ran for the final few months before the Deltics were withdrawn.

I really don't see the issue with destination blinds, I would never allow something like that to influence a a purchase, There are multiple options, Change them, blank them or simply ignore them. For the record I have purchased Provincial and GMPTE so far. I am not ruling out purchasing a skipper to use on my West Yorkshire based layout either.

I am sure there will be another set of Deltic Teaser images coming in the next few days to get this thread back on track.

I was fortunate to see HLJ in December at Wakefield and was very much looking forward to seeing it again sometime. With the current financial climate in mind have you considered making an high quality video/download of the layout. I would definitely give you my financial support if you did this. Whilst not as good as viewing the layout in person, I think there would be an appetite for armchair viewing this masterpiece. This might be a way of bringing HLJ to those that would never get to see it directly.

If anyone wants to take a look at the Deltics in the latter years, I have found this book really helpful. It should however come with a serious warning to your wealth. I now have 6 of these Accurascale beauties heading my way 🤣

How about Leeds to Blackpool in Todmorden

Great to see these are now available to pre-order. Would I be correct in thinking that you require payment in full to order these? Whilst I don't have a problem with this approach, it will certainly prevent me ordering more than one model at this stage.

That's very interesting does the Deltic have a removable roof panel like the 37 you showed yesterday, making this a very simple process then?
