  1. I'm in the process of building a slow running shunter to cope with the MBM couplings that I have fitted to all of my stock. I've found a geared motor on ebay for £3.45 which runs at 600 rpm so with a worm drive to the wheels it will run nice and slow even with the controller at full speed. The loco is built on a minitrix 2-6-0 Ivatt chassis without the bogie wheels so it's an 0-6-0. The problem I have is that in the course of building it I have lost one of the idler gears that goes between the driving gears. It has an axle which is 5mm long and the gear itself is 5mm in diameter with 12 teeth. If anyone has one of these floating around in the spares box I would be willing to buy it or exchange for something I've got.
  2. Since Dolgoch is an 040 you may want to look at ebay, there are 2 Arnold 0-4-0s for sale.
  3. I am looking for a set of axles with wheels from a very early Farish 060 loco with the tin-can motor to restore a kit built dock tank which has wonky wheels. The axles are plastic with the gears molded in and the wheels, with plastic centres, appear to be pressed on which is why they get wonky. I will gladly pay a reasonable price plus postage for them.
