  1. Haven’t posted here in a while, so here’s a slightly more BR-style version - albeit with a bit more Sulzer influence than Crompton…
  2. How’s this for an improved privately-built Bantam Bristolian?
  3. Well, let’s just say they’d need to have a fair few bacon baps to meet the job description…
  4. Predecessor to the Stubby Swindonian… … the Bantam Bristolian!
  5. Thanks! I agree with @tythatguy1312 on the classification, makes sense.
  6. 2023, here we come… Former DB ‘Shed’ wearing my logo design for GBR.
  7. I see your German DH, and I raise you a Class 19!
  8. Imagining that the British Transport Police actually had its own fleet for branch lines - trespassers have been awfully quiet since they brought these in…
  9. Apologies, I can’t help getting the two mixed up, no matter how hard I try not to!
  10. A stock move on the Mid Hants saw a Merchant Navy (Wadebridge if I remember correctly) being shifted with no leading bogie, so it got me wondering what a downsized Merchant could look like…
  11. So it is! I can’t imagine it taking very kindly to being fired at all…
  12. A rather unconventional 0-6-4T design, meant to represent an outside-cylinder version of the Midland Railway’s ‘Flatiron’ class…
  13. I do often wonder why a Shay or Climax was never geared for speed, while sacrificing some of their admirable strength in the process…
  14. In response to notes on my dual-cab 08, here’s a new bogie version. Along with that, here’s an Avonside-Peckett crossover 0-6-0ST.
  15. The boiler has been slightly extended to house a larger firebox, but what I had in mind when I witnessed the original photoshop was a banker, where the extra weight (and subsequent adhesive improvements) would be well received.
  16. Quite possibly, unless we go for a smaller engine - a new version will be made later.
  17. I’m sure it’s been done many a time before, but here is a concept for a Class 08 with dual cab operation.
  18. Impressive idea @DenysW! Here’s a side-on edit, with some slight alterations in measurements - I couldn’t be completely accurate to the original I’m afraid.
  19. I sometimes wonder what a completely ‘Swindonised’ BR Standard 4 would look like… (Photos are my own)
  20. What if the National Coal Board took its operations up a notch?
  21. A short-range yard inspection vehicle, powered by batteries. Effectively a shunter’s truck with motors and a control panel.
