  1. I've received my loadhaul 56055 and it really is a fantastic model. The sound file is amazing. Sounds great and has a lot of play value. My fans have ceased to work though. Is there a CV reset or anything else to look for? I've had the body off and everything looks to be Connected as it should be. I don't want to return it if there is a fix to this. Cheers for any response with suggestions. Chris
  2. Thanks John, 609 now sounds as great as the others! Cheers Chris
  3. Hi, apologies it is 606 and 609 I have not 602. I do not have any of the lighting issues that you talk about and I don't have the brake releasing in motion. I have changed cv 3 to 69/70 dependant on individual loco and use f5 when on heavier trains. When it comes to consisting them as pairs, most work fine together but I have had to lower cv3 a bit on a couple to speed match. Like I say I'm not that bothered that this model is a bit quieter because the real one was. It was pretty dire to be honest and 606 just screamed from the turbos but I can't replicate that. I just hope the original sound quality that came with the 37/4's and my 37026 comes with future orders. If it is going to appear quieter in future, I'll look into a different sound set up for future purchases.
  4. Has anyone noticed a reduced volume on certain releases? My first 4 were relatively loud. 602 marginally quieter but perfectly acceptable. 609, significantly quieter than the rest. I have noticed that this has an accurathrash branded speaker unlike the other models that were just blank. I think the sugarcube is also crackling but after watching the roads and rails vid I am inclined to get rid of that anyhow! I have reset and changed the volume to max and the loco can not be heard paired with the others. In a quiet room and prior to using any of the others it sounds decent but if you get another on the go, significantly quieter. Part of me doesn't mind because 609 was a right tub in this livery and sounded quiet and poor, but I hipe this isn't what is to come with furture releases, quieter models. It certainly sounds a lot quieter than the roads and rails video of 609 which has that violent thrash that the rest of mine do. Anyone else had this issue?
  5. 409 + 423 both worked the set in the liveries released. 423 was on the TSO end and 409 the BSO. 419 worked the set with both but not in the livery released, it was DRS livery when paired with both. 419 did work the set in mainline but predominantly with 407 or 424 in Large Logo livery. Hopefully 407 will become a future release having worked with all 3, preferably without printed plates but the option to add cast plates as it worked the set in both guises!
  6. I'll try that next time! Could be? I used the thinnest layer of black tack so not convinced, but will try it with clips.
  7. I received mine today. Fitted both within 5 minutes of them arriving so they are good for plug and play. The only issue I have is that my 3 factory fitted sound all perform faultlessly with the volume set at 192. The accurathrash speaker doesn't want to play above 150. I have switched decoders and speakers between 3 of the locos and whichever loco the accurathrash speaker was in, no go above 150. Slightly dissapointed as I wanted a factory fitted in the first place. It is still a great set up, but my experience from today is that it isn't as good as the standard factory fitted models.
  8. 401, 407 and 424 all have the central engine room window like the 423 model and forthcoming 422 model. I was going to hold out for 407 instead of 409 but there is no saying it will appear, though I suspect it will!
  9. Many thanks for the info! Once more come on stream and I look to transfer the files over I will get in touch regarding reblows. A rough estimate would be about 20 decoders, possibly a few more. Cheers Chris
  10. Whilst I have a few of the new accurascale 37's fitted with the excellent factory sound, I have always liked a variety of different soundfiles within a class. I have quite a collection of Legoman Biffo 21 chip Wensleydale 37/4 files and gradually as I replace my older Bachmann models with newer accurascale models, I would like to transfer the Biffo soundfiles into them. I have trial fitted one 37 with the Biffo decoder and accurathrash speaker set up and the standard functions such as horns, sander, compressor all worked on their relevant functions. The lights however do not. Is there a list of CV changes and values available to upgrade the soundfiles purchased for the accurascale models? Cheers Chris 37419
  11. There is no wheelslip on the 37/0 soundfile, probably because none was recorded. The characteristics of a 37/0 do differ from a refurbished 37, hence the different sound files. If a 37/0 did slip, it would not load up to full thrash straight off the slip like a refurbished example would. If you put the two side by side, you can hear the difference in the way both load up to get to full power. A refurb can do so much quicker than an 0. Reblowing the refurb wheelslip into a 37/0 soundfile will not sound right. The ideal would be if Jamie Goodman could make the sound file recorded from 37227 available remapped for accurascale and with the addition of the field divert.
  12. Whilst some have mentioned spares, a set of doors, or plated over panel, with and without standard headlights would be a good addition. I want my 026 in 95/96 condition with the newer style headlight so am hoping with time, an easy swap of the doors may be something that is offered as a spare.
  13. I can't believe no one has mentioned the addition of the characteristic field divert that is something unique to the generator fitted examples. The first time this has featured on any sound file. Brilliant. I did try (although not authentic with modern 419) 026+419 in a pair on a rake of ICI hoppers. Both performed very well as a pair despite the slightly different characteristics. Very impressed with my 3. I'm just glad 90's era 37's are being drip fed to help my bank balance!
  14. Apologies if this has already been covered, but which decoder is in the 37275 model? I have bought one which if it is a select, its not a problem, it can replace one of my v3.5s with appropriate speaker upgrade. But if it is a v5, I know I can reblow it to something better. Apologies I looled through the thread but couldn't see this model listed. Cheers Chris
  15. The 37's both look great. I think both lasted until 2004 on RHTT. Impressed with the 709. Looking at a 706 currently to be renumbered and you may have swung me with that!
