  1. The LMR train looks great. The LMR livery is very attractive. The ETS 2-8-0 in LMR livery is very nice, too! I would like more of the ex DR 52 locos but they are not cheap. No I am saving money for a Liberation class 2-8-0. Thomas
  2. Fortunately ETS is still going strong. This loco is too big an engine for my layout but it negotiates without trouble my 620mm radius curves and there are hopes for a garden railway in the distant future.... ETS added longer wheelbase wagons to the range. I like them but only added two of them as for my small layout the shorter ones fit better. Thomas
  3. On German Wikipedia I have read that a reversing star was chosen as cheaper to maintan and easier to keep operational during harsh winter conditions. Would make a great feature on a layout!
  4. About the class 08 shunter mentioned earlier, I talked to ETS about this one as I would buy one for my layout. WJ Vintage and Raylo this time could join ranks with the dutch ETS distributor as the dutch railways used such shunters, too. Even in Australia one could find this locos. These sure should be a manufactorers dream as the working life of the real ones make them suitable for most eras and layouts large and small.
  5. This book is still a favorite of mine. I wonder whether this living model railway is still going strong?
  6. To please customers and employees, some investments into infrustructure had to be done, new station building and signal box and adding a roof to the main platform: Just in time before the first snow the renovation of the station roof was finished: But there still are structures that need to be improved or replaced to make passengers happy: ThomasW
  7. I am interested into these smaller couplers and wonder whether it is possible to fit them to my continental ETS stock. But where to order from? Some of my tinplate trains, all from ETS; I found one more box of old photos: ThomasW
