Attended the Shildon NRM model railway exhibition this morning. It runs today Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October. There were some great layouts in attendance ranging from 009 gauge upto G gauge. As always numerous trade stands and great facilities for eating.

An interesting layout and design, I like the way you are able to fold the circular piece of your layout. Its amazing how much wiring can go into a layout and your little Ruston engine looks great.

Afternoon Phil. I am a new member of the forum and I really like the idea of the forum having a series of cakebox challenges. There are some brilliant entries throughout the different themes. It’s a great way for me to learn and enjoy the different levels of model making. At the moment I am just at the learning stage but I hope in the future I can tackle one of the forums challenges. Kev
