  1. It's a wonderful micro layout. I really like it. How did you make the backdrop ? Thanks.
  2. Just do it ! Sorry for the very poor quality of this photo.
  3. I built small buffer stops with plastic sleepers and nails. They work fine.
  4. I removed all the buffer stops and I slightly changed the track plan. It works very well . I'm very pleased with the result. But I need very small buffer stops to avoid a massive lost of rolling stock.
  5. Well done. How did you make your backdrop ? Thanks;
  6. After several test, it appears that all the sidings are too short for interesting shunting operations. One wagon per track it's not really enough. I must find a better track plan.
  7. I cleaned up the track and the very old point. Then I plugged my layout for the very first run.
  8. I drawn a new track plan. The baseboard is a little bit longer (80cm) than the first project.
  9. Thanks. I don't know yet for the scenery and the buildings. It's so small !
  10. Absolutely. These wagons are only there for the first test..
  11. Hello everyone, In another thread, I planned to build a small layout with a traverser/transfer table: Shortover Yard...but I changed my mind ! I read this very interesting website: InglenookShuntingPuzzles and I started the build of a Small Inglenook sidings (9" x 24"). I used very old Fleischmann stuff. All your advices and comments are welcome. Thanks.
  12. Well done ! You work very fast. To do the same job, it will take me a few years.
