  4. How do US railroads come up with the class naming of locomotives, like the PRR’s K4 or the SOU Ps-4?
  5. No, I looked. Only Palmerston, Litte Giant, Livingstone Thompson, Merddin Emrys, Taliesin, and Snowdon Ranger.
  6. Has anyone ever done the FR’s double fairlie Little Wonder in 4mm? I’ve seen it done in 7mm, and have searched for a 4mm version for a while.
  7. It is a good book, I have it right beside me right now!
  8. Which is better? The Langley Miniatures Fairlie of The Backwoods Miniatures Fairlie? The Langley Double Fairlie is £138.65 and is white metal. The Backwoods Double Fairlie is £110 and is brass. I have no experience with brass, so I’m thinking about going with the Langley Miniatures Fairlie. Ted Polet has said some of the Langley kits are poorer quality than today’s standards. I’m on the fence about the subject, so I want some outside help.
  9. Yes, W1 with the “British Enterprise” nameplates!
  10. Where the GCR, GNR, MR, and L&B the only companies to import US built locomotives when the British builders where backlogged?
  11. Why is there a X in some reporting marks, for example METX or TRCX? When was this introduced?
  12. RR Picture Archives is a good one. I run centerbeams, gondolas and boxcars on my modern papermill shortline.
  13. What is the best airbrush for a beginner?
  14. Does anyone have any info on CNW / CN Crandon, Wisconsin ? I have maps of both CNW and CN in Wisconsin but they seem to be different from each other in trackage.
