How could the ICE 1 and X2000 demo trains operate on the Amtrak NEC when they operate at 15 kV 16.7 Hz AC and 25 kV 50 Hz AC and the NEC uses 25 kV at 60 Hz AC, 12.5 kV at 60 Hz AC, and 12 kV at 25 Hz AC?

The US railroads did not share the same method of class naming for locomotives. Of course the Whyte notation (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whyte_notation) was used for wheel arrangements. Classification for steam locomotives for all US railroads can be found in the book Guide to North American Steam locomotives published by Kalmbach.

Has anyone ever done the FR’s double fairlie Little Wonder in 4mm? I’ve seen it done in 7mm, and have searched for a 4mm version for a while.

Which is better? The Langley Miniatures Fairlie of The Backwoods Miniatures Fairlie?
The Langley Double Fairlie is £138.65 and is white metal.
The Backwoods Double Fairlie is £110 and is brass.
I have no experience with brass, so I’m thinking about going with the Langley Miniatures Fairlie.
Ted Polet has said some of the Langley kits are poorer quality than today’s standards.
I’m on the fence about the subject, so I want some outside help.

A fictional boxcab I drew up based on the main chassis of a Pennsylvania Railroad GG1 and a body from some cabooses (cabeese?) lettered for a fictional railroad I'm thinking up. Heavily inspired by the works from this site.
