Good work. I like the bus on the bridge. It brings back memories of when I was a regular visitor to Edinburgh.

It would be good if your work could courier the laptop to you. Stay safe,

    Thanks

The bus is a Sunrise Kit.

Silly thing with our work intranet where I can't access it from home without logging it in on a work rooter first apparently. Network Rail silliness right there :/

  2. Yeah, Ive written an alternative history that I will get round to posting on here eventually. Its a lot smaller that the real thing (Roof still over a metre long though) aiming to keep the Character of Leith Central but fit it into my space and bring it into mid development phase around 1990. Station Roof was the main interest and I am incorporating buildings I like in the Edinburgh area. Idea being that it looks like the area not an exact copy.

Really enjoyed doing all the scale drawings for the roof, not so much looking forward to having to build 7 identical roof spans (so 14 ends) but relishing getting started on the main frontage as seen here http://www.edinphoto.org.uk/1_edin_t/1_edinburgh_transport_railways_rce078_leith_central.htm

I am changing the support walls to similar to the Klyondyke Wall in Edinburgh Waverley as in my alternative history the station was a combined effort by the Cally and North British to Save costs. (Also moved it 90 degrees to the other side of Leith walk as I want to build a section of Pilrig Church on top of the tunnel scenic break.

I'll post the full story in the blog at some point.
