  1. I found a good picture of the front. The back ie facing the tunnel, is a work of fiction.
  2. Thanks Brian, it is starting to come together.
  3. The bus station now has its surface. I need to paint it to look like concrete
  4. I made a cardboard mock up of the signal box to check for size
  5. Now that would be a challenge! Not one I am contemplating though
  6. This is the gantry which supports the signal box
  7. The bus station is starting to take shape
  8. These are Popupdesign kits. I managed to make 4 buildings from 3 kits by adding plain wood for those walls that wont be seen because they are against the backscene. It will take some work to make them pass muster next to Brian's masterpieces. I intend to cover the basic carcasses with embossed plastic.
  9. I have taken all the scenic sections off the boards and laid them out on the floor to check how they fit together and how they look. At the moment all this just lies loose on the boards. The only thing attached to the boards is the track. It will stay like that until the whole thing is brought down from the loft. In this picture the fiddle yard will be beyond the tenement at the top. The station is below the bridge at the bottom and the viewing side is from the right.
  10. The finished bus stop. The cream stripe under the roofline is a lining transfer. I figured that would be easier than painting it!
  11. Here is where the bus shelter will sit
  12. I am not too worried about that! It is good enough for me.
  13. I decided to make a Glasgow Corporation bus shelter. I started by cutting up some Wills windows and completed the rest from scrap offcuts of plastikard and microstrip.
  14. Further background to the bus station. I am not quite settled on the final position of this building but this gives something of the idea.
  15. This is what sits behind the bus station office,
  16. This is the Matthew Reid pub. Just the name sign to add
  17. This is the first bus stance with basic block colours applied. Just needs further colouring, weathering and signs applied, then on to the next one! Looks like the express service from London has just pulled in
  18. I wanted to have stained glass windows for the pub. I found some suitable images online and printed them very small on transfer paper and applied these to the windows.
  19. The bus station office is all but finished.. and the Leyland Tiger has somewhere to go now
