  1. Hi Mick yea I realise turntables don't have flanges but I just thought it would help as I have a slight movement on the bridge which I will have to sort out thanks anyway mate
  2. Thank Rex for your reply I did buy an ABC module but found I didn't like the movement so I am just turning it by hand at the moment, Do you think that a metalsmith module will cure the problem as it will save me a lot of time trying to solve the issue. also Greenwood model railway products do a module so as this time not sure where to go!!!
  3. Hi Everyone, Hope all is well with you all, I have a Metalsmith 70' turntable and I was hoping to replace the wheels on the bridge with flanged wheels to help keep the bridge on the rail, can anyone advise me where to but these or can anyone make them regards keith

  6. hi Ray At last I have just finished my DJH 2-6-2 kit as you have kindly helped. I did buy a 10 BA tap etc and that helped a lot to solved the crank problem so thanks again, While I'm on the RM can any one else help with pictures of the rear injectors/steam pipe as I would like to detail the model more cheers keith
  7. Also Ray did you manage to fix the vertical rod to the top of the cylinder or have you left it free as my instructions don't mention fixing it any shape or form cheers
  8. sorry Ray please excuse me but still not sure what you mean, when I said that I could screw the bolt the other way round I wasn't going to tap the bush but leave as normal and locate the bolt in the nut in the rear after cutting it to the right length thanks for your reply mate we will get it right won't we ! keith
  9. Just a thought Ray do think I could glue a 10ba NUT behind the wheel( reverse the bolt as original ) and then screw from the front, I may have to cut the bolt to length then I can solder the crank to the head!!! Keith
  10. Thanks Ray do you have any pictures of the crank pin Cheers Keith
  11. sagaguy how did you fix the centre crankpin ( the one with the four Imation bolts ) to the center crank how did you find this kit regards Neiler
  12. Hi guys, Not sure if I get your driff but my Christmas gift was an O Gauge DJH 2-6-2 kit, I've built a lot of kits before but I found this kit ok, BUT you have to work out what parts go where! It would be a great help if the pockets were marked and the etch were numbered, I also found the instruction very hard to understand they say ie now fit parts 70 to 89 and so on, Not to sure where these go or to solder them together! The kit is of good quality but im not sure if I would buy another DJ.H
  13. Thanks again guys has anyone built this o gauge djh Kit
  14. Thanks a lot the pictures help the gap isn't very big but you can see down inside so will have to panel it to make it look like a tank.
  15. Hi Guys I had a Djh o gauge kit for Christmas from Tower Models and have built the chassis, a bit fiddly but i got there, not sure how to go about fitting the pony yet! When i got to fitting the boiler etc i found that water tanks didn't fit close to the boiler has anyone else found this kit a problem?? The kit is made well i have to say but the instructions are a bit vague, any help would be grateful neiler
