A returning Railway Modeller. Now my children are in their late teens, retirement is on the horizon and I’ve developed a growing appreciation of the little things in life, it’s time for ‘the comeback’. I was a Railway Modeller ‘Junior Modeller of the month’ in 1980 (I think) but the arrival of my first electric guitar put the hobby to bed for 40 years! When my children were very young I took them to many model railway exhibitions and wondered if I’d ever have another go. Every six or seven years I’d pick up a Railway modelling and be amazed at how the quality of modelling was developing. This website and YouTube have also proved to be inspirational in my return
