I have just recently received the DJB Bulleid Light Pacific Kit to build the later BOB wide cab version. First impressions are good, excellent castings which may well be sans parail. I look forward to building the kit in due course. William Ascough, was very helpful.

It rather sounds like it would be wise to wait and see if it becomes an RTR release, whilst concentrating on many other easier projects!

I will carry on "considering"! I see Lionheart were mentioning an RTR Standard 3 being produced but that was 2016.

I have just read though your build, quite something overcoming the various probems, it demonstrates that with know how and persistence a very satisfactory locomotive has been produced, you have inspired me to consider the challenge of building one myself!
