Had a good look at the wheel /axle fitting and one wheel on each axle of the offender was not fully pressed onto the axle...a little light tap knocked the axle further through and now it runs fairly smoothly!!!! Thanks for all the input!

I`m slowly pulling the basics for an 009/Hoe layout as finances allow! I have a couple of Roco coal wagons and just acquired a Roco diesel loco.One of the wagons is a really wobbly runner,the other perfect.Is this a one off or do you get variations with all RTR stock ? Thanks.

Shall watch with interest as I`m planning to build something in 009 myself .Currently have amassed a pair of quarry wagons!!! lol.

Great to see! Last rode on the line in the early seventies when they were still working on the diversion loop to get to Blaenau.......how time psses us by.

Yes,was at Easington when re engined by Barclays in `76 with an 8 cyl Rolls Royce.

Thanks for all the advice...I `ve purchased a GMC-DS twin controller with simulation! Initial impression is that I like the simulation effect,it seems that the more modern the loco ,the better they interact with the effect but that could just be down to individual units also. The Guagemaster looks to be a very well made unit ,nice to see in this day and age !

Currently using basic Hornby 3 position R911 controllers,which are very on/off ! Would upgrading to a Guagemaster unit give smoother ,more realistic starts and stops ? TIA.

Can anyone suggest a reasonably simple plan in this format to fit onto 8x4--7x5 ish board ? I`m using Hornby track and want to use 3 and 4 radius curves . Thanks.
