Unfortunately not just by looking. There are 6 wires, five black and one red. Only by following them back to where they came from was it clear they had been soldered to the wrong places on the board. Looked at another two and they were both the same, suspect with 5 black wires and where they come from not visible once the loco is assembled it would be easy to attach to the wrong place. James

At last Somebody found it! It took many seconds in photoshop hours of negotiation with Hornby to get an exclusive first image….

As the website shows we now have these in stock! Took a bit longer than we had hoped but the New Year got in the way. We are currently going through and testing them as well as going down the list contacting everyone who pre ordered one.
