Hi, I've sent Bachmann spares a email to see if the hole motor/ gearbox assembly from their more modern A1 can be fitted in the place of the original mashima assembley. Although currently the email has remained in my outbox assumingly due to the Bachmann spares department being closed. If I dont get a reply I will try with a mashima 1428, is the only diffrence the rpm of the motor between that and the 1430?

Hi, I've got a Bachmann A1 60147 North eastern from the batch which had replacement Mashima 1430 motors fitted by Bachmann. I bought this loco a while ago and it worked for a while but now the motor is completely dead and needs replacing. Has anyone found a replacement motor for the mashima 1430 as these arent available anymore? Thanks
