I hope I can help. Discontinued about 25 years ago now. Yes very nice models in their day. Frank & his Wife selling the kits at 0 gauge shows. I saw him at I recall Shepshed School shows. His last kit was a nice BR fish van. The range seem to be amazingly selling on Ebay at £70 these days. There was a company that I recall had the tooling & set up a web site to produce them later or may just have sold on the then surplus stock. ABS models cast the white metal underframes for the models. Peter IF I could actually get through the shed door I would have dug a few finished models out & photographed them. Could be my Easter challenge there for you

You say this but I have seen trains from Masbrough , South Yorkshire, to Cardiff Tidal from above on a road bridge & the wagons loads where clearly full of crushed tin cans. which left a very unpleasant smell in the air on passing.

I reading above was about to ask if as the wagons became insulated, where they pre-heated at the depots thus remaining hot in transit . If the trend of ripening at home was not started at that time ? Otherwise why actually insulate them unless to stop the ripening in extreme hot weather. Thank. Peter

Hi, just catching up. Erewash Valley on the Sunday was closed with Northern trains coming down as far as Alfreton. Plus this again Monday. Sunday though interesting as the trains came into the station wrong line to platform 1. Monday as increased service saw a reversal at Codnor Park Junction. thanks, Peter
