  1. I'm yet to attempt any of this on my GT3 (thank you for explaining the decoder bits!), but I've found red Sharpies a good alternative for turning white LED's red.
  2. That seems entirely insane, given the 2nd run going ahead.
  3. Huh, I've just found out my pre-order of SR six wheel coaches from Hattons has been cancelled. No email or any other notification, which seems a little rude.
  4. No, you're quite right. Let's stoke unnecessary conflict.
  5. Could this thread please not descend into playground bickering.
  6. Yes, I have, and this lot was put together to give a better overview of the class covered by RTR stock.
  7. Hello all, This is my first post in here, so I'm not entirely sure how everything works yet (particularly, which topic it should go under). During the first lockdown this year, I started putting together a database on Google Drive of various locomotive classes to map the extent to which each class is available as ready to run 00 gauge models. These files aren't finished yet, but I thought I'd put them up here to see what people think and to hear if there are any suggestions for improving the system. Each class (only named classes, so far) is laid out with build and retirement dates as well as the dates of significant modification for each locomotive (example: rebuilding of Bulleid's pacifics). The product numbers for each model are listed in the chronological order of the prototype's appearance, so a newer model of an original Merchant Navy in SR Malachite is listed before a model of a rebuilt one in BR Green with late crests. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/15cXtaXgbELuBM8z45Lgs0SH47X2V4DeB?usp=sharing
  8. Fantastic to see some 'between the frames' action around 18:40 in that video, thank you for the link!
  9. For goodness sake chaps, please keep it civil.
  10. They look rather good to me! That said, I’m wondering about the window-like recesses in the front of the tender. Can’t imagine they’ll be particularly visible, but should they be green?
  11. In case anyone in here has missed the Facebook update:
  12. Okay, thanks for the information! I hadn't heard from them since placing my order in January and, well, rather a lot seems to have happened since then.
  13. Any news on Rails distributing their R3810's?
