Just checked Hornby website. It's working as normal just now. Put in the search box R30069. It comes up with the model. Maybe if someone couldnt find earlier it was because they had sold out of their numbers. But it is now up to 3000 models. So hopefully those who haven't yet managed to bag 1 of these SPECIAL models will have success this morning. If the site goes down again hopefully it wont take long to get going again. Just please keep trying for this wonderful model and gesture by Hornby donating £40 each to the NHS. And to Capt (which he prefers to be known by) Tom Moore I agree with several earlier posts by people he should be KNIGHTED and become a Sir.

Glad Hornby keep increasing the numbers. Really BAD that people are now cancelling these orders now its not 500 models. I wouldnt care if it was 100,000 I would still want 1 (which I finally managed to bag after 2hrs of constantly trying yesterday). I got as its still an unique loco that any true collector or railway modeller would want to own. Also to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Tom for his magnificent thought of doing what hes achieved. Setting out for £1000 to donate to NHS & breaking all records with the MILLIONS of £s is outstanding. Well done to you from the entire nation. Hornby should look into closely peoples accounts if they cancel, and these people should be black listed as PROFIT CHASING CARPET BAGGERS. They destroy our hobby by stopping the normal people from purchasing any limited run models. They need to be ashamed of themselves especially with this model and the donation to the NHS.

Quick get on Hornby website they have upped it to 2020 models. These are selling out fast, wont be available much longer. Also take a look at my youtube video for inspiration. Thanks

Managed to get 1 of these earlier but took me over 2hours at my laptop and 2 mobile phones trying to get website to work. Think the 500 sold out thats why we couldnt pay for 1. So when message said there was a problem with their website and they were working on it, I think thats when they raised it to 1000 models. People then were able to buy for a short time. Then it crashed again as I suspect they had sold out again. I have just checked Hornbys page and its saying 1500 models now. So I expect they will also sell out quick. Hornby should just keep adding another 500 each time they sell out so we can keep buying them. I put a short video up on my youtube channel trying to promote this model. I only have 26 subscribers but that 30 second video has had nearly 100 views and for me thats amazing. Hope many more people watch my video and go on to successfully order R30069 on the Hornby site.
