Of all the issues raised with the model, I would have thought that inconsistent liveries should not be one of them.
I have just got 3439 33009 in Dutch to go with my 3452 33026 Seafire model, and the yellow band is a different shade (it is not as obvious in the attached picture as it is in real life)
I know that all manufactures seem to struggle with what colours were used on the Dutch livery, I have a Dapol 73, the Heljan 33, some Hornby and Lima Seacows, Hornby Rudd and Dapol Turbots and Grampus, and they all have different shades of grey and yellow on them. But the same loco from the same manufacture having different paint colours is poor in my book.
33009 will have to be returned, but does anybody know if 3433 33002 or 3436 33047 has the same shade of yellow as the 33026 model.
33002 has a totally different shade of grey to any of them seen on the right 33047 is on the left

Have we all fallen in to the trap here. We are all now talking about him this thread is now six pages long about a guy who runs his trains on a carpet and gives one sided review on models ( how the hattons 66 in not on that worst list is beyond me). How many of us have now gone and watched his videos because of this thread . Proves what he is doing is working he's a crap reviewer but a great influencer which is why the company's love him.

I am sad to see that this thread has turned into lets slag some off because we do not agree with him. Several people here have made comments that show more of them selves than Sam.
As for the comment made here about company's that pay him. Just which companies are those. Do you know if so share. This is no worse than the big magazines giving free publicity by getting models and other items free from the manufacturers to review. Especially as like the N class the problem about derailing was not mentioned in any reviews I can find. Only becoming apparent when they were bought.
So ladies and gentlemen if you do not agree with him just say so. Do not leave facile and demeaning comments. I personally think this thread should be shut down now by the moderators. I am very disappointed by some of the people here and their comments.
OK Sam we all will say sorry but at the end of the day it's just a opinion

Sadly it's a cry for attention... And very biased... Say he's only in it for money... And has no interest in this hobby.
I'm mean he has to pay for subscriptions and viewers... Tells you everything.
Waste of server space.
Not Intrested in Sam's trains myself it's aimed at kids. I'm also not Intrested in his opinions in what's good or bad as he's views are biast towards the company's who pay him sadly with him it's about subscriptions and views and money not about the models ( just my opinion). I think most modelers just take him with a pinch of salt

Try another decoder I had a issue like that I stripped the loco down and after all that it turned out the chip was defective.

Hi,
I've just bought a Bachmann Class 117 in Blue Grey and although its mainly intended for my future layout based on the Reading to Tonbridge line it got me thinking about the full range of DMUs that could be used on Beggarwood Lane.
Beggarwood has a non electrified spur that leads to interregional goods yard on the lower level and to the West London Line.
The WLL track is a dead end at present and has no space for a run round loop.
I've asked in a separate topic on RMWeb what DMUs used the West London Line over the years and did 3 car Class 117s in Blue Grey ever run on the line?.
Class 119's did run to Kensington Olympia and I've got an MTK Class 119 with an old chassis under it plus two DC Kits to make plus brass sides and ends for another Cl119.
If we could sort out some DCC automated couplings for Class 73's and a way of detecting when a loco has coupled up to some coaches we might be able to recreate the Class 73 plus 2 Mk1 coaches that at one time used to run from Clapham Junction along the West London Line. Not sure where we would store a Class 73 off scene to back onto the coaches for the return leg.
Take Care.
Nick
Selhurst allocated class 205 and 207s were used on the Clapham Junction - Kensington olympia shuttle service as well
