  1. Slightly off topic, but in case Hattons do have a look at this thread, the icing on the cake would be if Hattons were to commission an N Gauge Class 28 following on from their OO version.
  2. I'm certainly interested in the N Gauge version. Keith you might wish to post on the existing thread on the N Gauge Forum... https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=43590.0
  3. Excellent post, I couldn't agree more. I already have the 4 Black Mermaids and would like to purchase one of each of the Indian Red versions plus additional Black livery with BR numbering if ever produced. I have both a black & red Shark on pre-order with Hattons. Let's hope they all appear eventually. David
  4. I emailed him a link to the Thread a couple of hours ago so fingers crossed...
  5. I replied to the Deposit Request email to point out that my interest was in the N gauge version. This was the very prompt reply... Hi David, Yes, this is a problem with the expression of interest link, it doesn't split between who wants which gauge. We will be making adjustments over the coming days so that we can target the right customers. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. 10. Don't know if this type of issue has been covered previously but I have a very old version of Tetris that has worked on all my previous PCs but under Windows 10 all I get is "This App can't run on your PC". I know it's probably an 8-bit vs 64-bit problem but does anyone know of a solution? David
  11. Take these chains from my heart - Ray Charles & others
  12. Streamline - John Mayall's Bluesbreakers
  13. I hope this goes ahead as I have made an Expression of interest in the N Gauge version. I did see the real GT3 several times on the GC at Whetstone (Leicestershire) in the early 60s. By coincidence, Whetstone was where EE developed the propulsion system for GT3 as this plant was where they developed jet engines. The noise was deafening when they ran the jet engine test rig. Regarding the discussion concerning frames/wheelbase etc.The November 1960 Trains Ilustrated has an article about the development of the loco and states "The power plant has been mounted on a standard BR 4-6-0 frame which BR supplied to EE together with a standard 6-wheeled tender underframe". The March 1961 TI has a follow-up article regarding the start of running trials. As well as lots of technical info this article gives the length over buffers as 68ft 0.5" which I believe is similar to the length of a Clan loco. Fingers crossed. David

  19. I have recently moved house and the Medium Size N Gauge version is exactly what I now need. Hopefully Nelevation will be open for orders again soon. If so, then hopefully there would be some indication of lead time from order to delivery. Fingers crossed. David
  20. Just ordered one. Never saw these in the flesh as the final withdrawal was a few months before I became a "spotter". Spot on for my modelling era/location though.
