  1. With the 56’s being in our hands now I was just wondering if there was any news on the modified BBA’s with the different decks and also the BXA/BWA’s?
  2. Fully caged Evo in the car park, no wonder he’s taking the train 😂
  3. Hope to see some videos of this on YouTube aswell was really enjoying the uploads 👍
  4. Prototype hst??? Always fancied one after seeing the n gauge lot get them
  5. Hi All, recently got a very good deal on a 769, it’s the only n gauge item I’ve got but I’ve driven it in real life so that’s a good enough excuse. Anyway when I’ve gone to test it today the trailing unit is showing whites when going back and then when leading showing reds. I was hoping someone on here might have an idea, thanks Jack
  6. Will there still be some to buy at the start of next month I’m desperate for one but don’t get paid until the 3rd 🙄
  7. Just received my HDA’s and they are stunning well done guys on a quality product, can’t wait to see more running numbers….. and a canton allocated coal sector 37/7 please 😉
  8. Looking forward to 418 having seen it up close and personal at Rhymney, now just have to wait for some more blue grey mk2’s or someone to make a oo gauge 769 for it to drag 😆
  9. I’ve ordered from KMS but haven’t heard from them yet will I get contacted next week or will i have to contact them.
  10. Can we not please I had a Bachmann one done last year 😂😂
  11. Can’t wait for my my metals livery one. Would you be able to turn the headlight 180 degrees to sit it lower on the front
  12. Right so I think this will be the final track plan, I originally wanted a two road shed like the peco or gaugemaster kits but they are a bit too wide and would push the track at the front a bit too close to the edge, I’ll be going for the 3-d printed single road shed that I’ve seen on a certain auction site I was just wondering if anyone had experience with them. If anyones got any ideas or tips I’d love to hear them. thanks
  13. Well after a quick dry run fitting the kit together it’s safe to say there isn’t much room to play with, it’s nice to see in person rather than just measuring it out. I’ve put a couple of pieces of rolling stock on to get a gist of the size.( ignore the teaks they are my little boys 😆)
  14. Hi all first time starting a new topic on here so let’s see how this goes. Firstly a bit about myself, I'm 24 and recently got back into model railways due to forcing my son into watching the classic Thomas and friends episodes and taking him around to stations and preserved railways. Im currently a trainee train driver with transport for wales driving on the valleys in what should be classed as classic traction (150’s)🤣. Anyway about the layout it’s a scale model scenery laser cut kit that fits in a Christmas tree box, something for me to build my skills and practice before a larger layout once a house move is complete. I’ve a couple of ideas from a wagon works and stabling point to the a slightly compressed Cobra railhead yard from the peco track plan book. I’ll be building the baseboards over the next couple of days so any help regarding a layout plan and anything really will be much appreciated. sorry this is a rambling first post but thanks for reading Jack
  15. I did check that’s the worse bit, I looked on here before I ordered on the 25th feb and the most up to date was from may 2021 saying it was a good retailer and all the reviews up to 4th March confirmed it
  16. After a week of waiting I sent an email to ask where my items were and went to find that the website had all the items taken down. I finally checked on here to see that I’m not alone in this which is a little bit more comforting but annoying all the same have just sent a visa dispute to my bank so hopefully will get a refund. I knew that intercity mk3’s in swallow livery for £25 were too good to be true
  17. The track plan is the same as Idea B Just with a single slip from platform 1 across to the yard and then no platform 3 just a fence or something across the back of the platform
  18. I’d personally go for B but have platform 3 taken out and have fencing there and use that for a freight passing loop, then have a diamond crossing from platform 1 across and use the bi-directional line as a freight loop/ yard, Just a thought but obviously it’s completely up to you.
  19. Andy I can’t believe my eyes having a quick browse through fleebay and came across a rather familiar looking 150 . Are we back to no passenger stock once that has gone is or have you got something in the works.
  20. Has got to be something passenger related surely GWR 158?????
  21. Went there for the first time ever yesterday aswell and I was completely blown away. One of the best preserved railways I’ve been to and seeing Awdry’s study and layouts was something very special indeed
  22. I think if the short ones are sold and they are labelled saying they are not the correct size I don’t see the problem with them.
  23. I saw the question asked but I don’t think it was answered. Do we know what will be happening to the shorter wagons which were first released if the will be put back on sale. thanks
  24. I’ve just had a look but can’t see anything, has a date been set for when preordering will start. thanks
