About Me
I have been a railway modeller since the 1970s, having built a number of small, medium and large-ish layouts since then. My current layouts are all Micro layouts:
- Box Street Switching Layout: a freelanced American outline 4x1 feet switching (shunting) layout set in Chicago, IL.
- Pier 39 Switching Layout: a freelanced American outline 4x1 feet switching (shunting) layout, set in New York, NY.
- Petra Pizza Layout: a freelanced American outline 2x2 feet layout set in a mountainous area in Maryland.
- Ruston Light Railway: a freelanced 'both ends of the line' British outline 2.67 square feet 'layout in a box' set somewhere between London and Bristol.
I have been married since 1995, to a woman who is very tolerant, even supportive, or my model railway activities and the associated obsession of filling all available space with model railway stuff. We have 3 'children', although 2 of them are now adults, and the other is in the throes of teenage-dom.
