Hi im fairly new to modelling (4mm) i am planning a small diorama (approx A4 size). I am going to use foam board for the base. Do you need to prepare it in any way before adding the scenery? I.e do you need to rough the surface to make items stick. Also can you apply papermache / grass type sprinkles directly Hope this is not a silly question but any help and guidance would be appreciated Thanks

Hi i am quite new to modelling and wondered if anyone could pass on a tip. I am making a coal yard diorama and want a coal wagon with side door open. (OO scale). I was thinking of a plastic kit and cutting (maybe with a dremmil?) Does anyone have any suggestions as to a suitable kit or even a better method. Look forward to your thoughts

I am building a boxfile 1960s coal yard. I have a cobblestone print on card. I am looking for advice on weathering it and also putting in some dirty wheel marks from the coal lorry. I an new to this so any pointer and tips would be really appreciated Thanks
