  1. Does anybody know of any depots/sheds banking engines would be stabled at? I know of the ones for the Lickey, Shap and Beattock inclines (Bromsgrove, Tebay and Beattock stations respectively) but more examples would be welcomed.
  2. Does anybody know where i can get a double chimney for a Hornby A4, or what the part code for such a piece would be?
  3. Do they fit in the PECO ffestiniog slate wagons? btw i'm talking about these: (image from oliva's trains)
  4. Dapol have done that combination, as number 4S-041-006, which is the one i'm looking for if i do go with the Dapol version. really it comes down to which i find first at the model shows i'm going to in December and March.
  5. does the second run include a BR green with early crest livery?
  6. Which is the better model? I want to use one as a banking/commuter engine on my layout but i can't decide between the 2 manufacturers.
  7. wagon-wise i'm planning on using either 16 ton mineral wagons or private owner 5 and 7 plank wagons, not 21 ton wagons
  8. i was thinking either a class 08, austerity saddle tank, or an andrew barclay 0-4-0
  9. No confusion between tipplers and weighbridges. I intend to use a side tippler, like this one: from the layout "Green Street" (http://www.clag.org.uk/green13.html)
  10. would i be correct in assuming that locomotives were forbidden from moving onto a wagon tippler due to their weight?
  11. does anybody make an RTR OO gauge fireless locomotive?
  12. oooh that does match my requirements quite well
  13. Nice! and it's on the NLS maps too even though the power station does sit on the border of 2 map sections (which is annoying)
  14. if you find such an example please do share it
