Yes that's true about about the couplings, but if I ever do get the Bachmann models I'll probably get Toby and Mavis and they have couplings on both sides. As for the Walmington-on-Sea platoon, well that is a story for another time...

The station building you see there is a temporary one, it was made by Tomy. Your quite right about the Bachmann models, but I'm looking for a bit more datail so I will mainly be using Hornby models. Though certainly down the line I would like the get some of the Bachmann ones.

Progressing slowly but surely

Our loco and some more coaches have arrived.

The layout won't be strictly Thomas based for now I'm getting what you might call "real stuff" haha But later on I shall get the appropriate NWR stock.

UPDATE Received my coaches two BR Mk 1s. A loco has been brought and is on its way!

A bit related but I've got a twitter and I've been posting there in a bit more detail so go check it out

Now of course I need to put it somewhere. I'm think on my chest of drawers, though to be honest it's the only space I have so it'll have to do! The space I have to work with is approximately 4ft 2×1ft 2. I am very much a beginner but I am learning as I go, onwards to glory!

As said before I'm using Awdry's never built Ffarquhar extension as a basis. Now this idea was actually started in December of last year, since then I've been collecting and preparing for this great project

I've always wanted to have a model layout so I think it's about time I made one. I shall be making Ffarquhar from The Rev. W. Awdry's never built extension to his NWR layout. I'll be updating as I progress!
