  1. Agreed although I'm just surpised it's taken Hornby forty-one years to re-produce the Inter-City 125 in it's Original livery and appearance as a full train set again of any gauge!
  2. It's interesting as in the last hour Hornby have updated the TT:120 section at the bottom of the page where all the click buttons to pages are. The brochures and guides has been updated to a HST cover. While the train sets features the new Inter-City 125 train set. So I should imagine the April Spring 2024 issue and an updated phase 2 catalogue should be available soon.
  3. Louis is doing a fantastic job on the Class 37! I'll be getting the BR Green one!
  4. I love the new signals and level crossing! I love the J50s and the TOUAX, Sffgmss IFA wagons! and the BP/Shell, 12T Tank Wagon looks amazing! the Inter-City 125 High Speed Train Set welcome back to range as a Hornby train set! (even though it was OO gauge) since 1983! I am as of yet to watch the videos on YouTube etc. please where was the information or CADs etc of the Class 37s I didn't see anything?
  5. Thank you. I'm glad I didn't see it actually! Although I can't wait to see the artwork of the product box packaging design! I also wonder if the "Mainline Express era 7 train set" will also be in phase two? It appears that Andy was correct after all back in October 2022, about there being a BR HST train set!
  6. Gutted to gave missed this! An accidental leak? If anyone is interested, It's also the first time Hornby will have produced an original BR Blue Class 43 HST as a train set since 1983! And the first time since a British Rail Class 43 HST train set was released since May 1996 (the limited edition 20th anniversary set with additional MK3 buffet car) and the standard uncatalogued InterCity 125 set 1996 -1997.
  7. No catalogue number yet but looking back at the catalogue. I wonder if the "Mainline Express" Electric train set Era 7 (British Rail TOPS) 1971-1986 will be announced? I've always wondered what locomotive and rolling stock that'll be included? A Class 37, Class 47 (only if these are annouced when the train set will be announced) or a Class 50. Or maybe even a new tool different class diesel/electric locomotive? I reckon with a rake of BR MK1s? or BR MK2E or BR MK2F coaches.
  8. When phase one was annouced there was erroneous information of a BR HST train set. There is however a forthcoming future CrossCountry XC HST Train set in either phase two or three. (Neither was specified as to which phase).
  9. There are some Railway essentials line side accessories currently missing from the Hornby TT:120 range which I'd love to see introduced in phase 2 or onwards. Railway semaphore signals, home signal, home distant, junction distant junction home, single level crossing and a double level crossing with gates and modern barriers and trackside accessories with huts, telegraph poles, water crane, loading gauge, whistle sign and mile and gradient posts.
  10. I prefer the original live action models of Britt Allcrofts 1984 television adaptation for ITV! (I have the DVD releases) Even the 2000s CGI is an improvement the locomotives rolling stock etc look nothing like the originals unfortunately! I don't know why HIT Entertainment changed this! It looks more like Thomas and Friends meets Chuggington! The new 2020s television adaptation "Thomas and Friends All Engines Go", yes please go back to live action models! Also next year is the eightieth anniversary of "The Railway Series" of books (I have the 70th edition boxset of original mini books it's absolutely beautiful!) by Rev W Awdry 80th birthday in 2025. That should be interesting! I was disappointed that Hornby discontinued Thomas and Friends. Thankfully I did get the final run of models from 2015 and 2016 Thomas, (and the 70th matalic edition one) Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, troublesome trucks, Annie, Clarabel wagons pack 1 and 2 James coaches Gordon's coaches, Old Slow Coach etc.
  11. Ny home town of Newton Abbot! One of the Railway towns in England! Amazing photos of GNER HSTs!
  12. Wow I am impressed about this Locomotion No. 1 incredible! I am extremely very happy about this! Tiger on its own very nice! Nice to see the L&M Railway rolling stock will now be available separately! L&MR Royal Mail Coach L&MR 2nd Class Coach R40437 L&BR, No. 2 'Queen Adelaide's Saloon' - Era 1 I said these will probably be available separate back in 2023! Ill get the last two as I already have the Royal Mail coach! New new liveries I do like the GNER HST set with the MK3s Nice to see the Thompson Class L 1s back! RailRoad GWR, Class 1000 I guessed correctly! RailRoad Plus GWR, Parcels Car I guessed correctly! the rest again all nice new liveries. I do like the GWR, Loriot Y Machinery Truck with Load No. 2.! Edit: I have just heard the absolutely dreadful devastating news about Hatton's I want to say a huge thank to them. Most of my model railway including rolling stocks scenery and accessories! came from them! All of their staff and customer service has always been exceptional! I am very sad to see a beloved British retailer announce their closure I am very sorry to hear the loss of staff as well. what an absolutely awful start to this year! Gutted! 💔
  13. Thanks. Yes I did mention a few years I'd love to see the Class' 25 last produced in 2001, 29 last produced in 2000, 35 Hymek last produced in 2004?, 52 (Western) last produced in 2005, 58 last produced in 2006? 86 last produced in 2005, etc updated back into the RailRoad range.
  14. Hornby can release anything no matter what it is I am always impressed about it all! As I'm always guaranteed to be amazed the LNER Coronation coaches for example blew me away! So whatever new tool any steam any era priod etc, or of any diesel/electric locomotive from any era I'll be flabbergasted! All this aside I'd really love to see returns of long absences of any loco, DMU, EMU, rolling stock etc, including RailRoad, of anything with ten years or more back in the range! Furthermore what I really want to see is, a new tooled AC Electric BR Class 81 as a Hornby Dublo model or in the main range only if it is extremely super detailed with everything 100% authentic and accurate in terms of the detailing. With nothing missed out on it! It'll have to be the best ever produced with no faults or any missing details.
  15. I know there is a planned Cross Country XC HST train set to arrive in a future phase. But there was erroneous information when phase 1 was launched and now I want to see it actually being a train set! a Hornby TT:120 BR HST Train set. Two BR Class 43 power cars in original BR Blue Yellow livery with 2 x BR MK3 coaches. 1x Transformer, 1x Controller, 1x Rerailer, 1x 3rd Radius Starter Oval with Track Pack 1.
  16. Yes more late 1990s early 2000s Post Privatisation eras franchises of HSTs Great Western 'Merlin with the INTERCITY Swallow typeface on the Great Western Merlin on the MK3s!
  17. I have just received the annual new years range email. Asking us what we want/are hoping to see in the range.
  18. The last time Hornby produced a BR Class 142 pacer Railbus, was way back in 2012 and 2013. It was a Northern Class 142 Pacer, catalogue number R3140. Attached image. So another one is long overdue I think! Perhaps it would now be part of the RailRoad range now.
  19. I'd personally like to see their back catalogue of their diesel /electric classics of super detailed retooled models. As Bachmann and Hornby will both eventually be selling and producing super detailed BR Class 37s for example. So I would be surpised and I both wouldn't be surpised in the future to see these Hornby classics retooled :BR Classes 06, 20, 25, 29, 35 Hymek, 37, 47 (37 and 47 possibly arriving soon), 52 Western, 58, and 90.
  20. There probably might be a new tooled BR Class 37? Or perhaps No considering Bachmann already make a very stunningly beautiful one? As there will be some new tooled ones for Hornby TT:120 (BR Green is being produced that's the one for me! 😍) I'd love a Hornby Dublo one mind! Perhaps a Hornby Dublo InterCity 125 Class 43 HST power cars all glossy and metal 😍 (I know there won't be) I don't know how I think about this supposedly new approach of new announcements throughout the year. However I mean I do love new announcements throughout the year mind. Although the thing is doesn't this mean, that these later annouced announcements intended for release in 2024 will enviably actually be in the following years catalogue of 2025 and not the 2024 one? Also the 2016 A4 size glossy coffee table catalogue magazine that was promised (to fill the gap) if there was enough demand, (perhaps there wasn't enough demand after all) never meterlised. I'd still buy one if one was put together almost eight years later!
  21. Or even Dapol! They've produced some amazing pieces of model railway rolling stock in the last few years! I don't mind who produces a AC Electric BR Class 81. I did mention an 81 if Hornby do produce one. They did ballsed up the BR MK4 1st class INTERCITY Swallow livery coaches. On second thoughts yes with all the bells and whistles! Thankfully Accurascale Rails are the ones producing the Badger Class 89 and Rails and Bachmann the Class 41 prototype HST! Two long requested from me! So I hope BR AC Electrics 81, 82, 83 , 84 are produced by some model railway manufacturer. My all time bells and whistles list is almost complete. Heljan Kestrel Rapido APT-E Rails Bachmann BR Class 41 HST prototype Hornby Intercity 125 Hornby Intercity APT-P Hornby Intercity 225 ???? BR Class 81 AC Electric Hornby BR Class 87 Accurascale Rails BR Class 89 Badger Bachmann and Hornby both produced BR Class 90. Hornby Accurascale Hornby BR Class 92
  22. Add to my original list a new tooling Diesel electric locomotive AC Electric BR Class 81. Also a New tool DMU EMU DEMU EDMU the British Rail Class 140 Pacer Railbus.
