    Seem to remember going to the MMRS ( Manchester) annual Christmas show sometime in the mid 1960s, the venue being either the Sackville street building or the Corn Exchange ( now known as the Triangle unless they have changed it again) , somehow cant remember which venue was first. Both sites were busy.

    The lifetime guarantee only applies to the analogue (DC) controllers unfortunately. Talking of new DCC controllers prices have risen sharply for them be prepared for a shock ! that is of course if you can find one in a retailer they seem to be in short supply (Guagemaster).

    The silence is deafening over the transfer of the Genesis coaches. Lack of communication from Rails is not good for confidence ( Has anybody heard anything directly from them ?). An email from Rails confirming transfer of the orders would assist all those with orders as to what stage the orders are at. Lack of communication can harbor false rumors so come on Rails lets here something please !

    Sadly society has now breed so called humans with the attitude of " I will do what I want, when I want and how I want and nobody can tell me to do anything otherwise " There is only one thing that sort it all out and that would bring about much suffering ! Enough said

    Jim a similar thing has happened with the Barclays , accurasale say that monies will be taken in line with the original Hattons policy ( ie when the model is ready for despatch) but there website says May 8th , have quired this either them and was told the monies would be due when the model is ready for dispatch. If seems they are having IT problems to me. Nay be worth contacting them to clarify

    Kernow won't be able to answer your question the people to ask are Model Rail magazine, it actually says and gives details of how to on page 3 of the current mag

    Which happens to be "Kernow" as they are handling the customer sales/final distribution of Model Rail magazines models, that is my believing as to what is happening 🤔 Please feel free to correct me if that is inaccurate.

    That would depend on your understanding of the words, early, mid and late and seeing as today's date is the 19th which of afformentioned words fits with the date

    Yet on page 13 of the Rail magazine released this week it states " due to depart for Cornwall in early January", draw your own conclusions

    Have you considered the Model Rail/Heljan class 11 diesel shunter from which the BR class 08 was developed ? A new model due to arrive shortly.

    What strange happenings are going on in the model railway world, first Hattons and then Warley. Going to the past there was the annual December show in Manchester which swapped dates to accommodate the Warley show, since then Manchester returned to its traditional December show time, so come up a bit further North or not so far South to enjoy a rather good show along with other attractions the area can offer.

    I see the dreaded pips on the end of the point tie bars spoil what are good photos ! they stick up like a sore thumb.
