  1. If you can make it out to Mount Wellington, come along to the ACMRC with your stock on a Thursday night 7-9pm. We've got two reasonably large layouts at our club premises. Auckland Central Model Railway Club (acmrc.org.nz)
  2. Glad to see this one released, particularly at a lower point than flangeway's offering. Unfortunately as an overseas customer, Flangeway aren't GST registered and as such are rather expensive for those outside of the UK. Very nice to see earlier designs too.
  3. I too would also love to see another run of the FFA/FGA sets. Perhaps this time they can have a wider range of containers for the early freightliner sets, maybe some of the open containers & the guards pod.
  4. I'm desperately hoping there's gonna be one of the early AC electrics (81-84) in this announcement, or maybe a class 304/5/8. Would love to see pretty much anything with a pantograph!
  5. A picture of the first decorated sample for these is up on Rapido UK's facebook page. Looks brilliant, can't wait to see the early bauxite versions.
  6. This model looks brilliant! I'll be honest, I was a little bummed it wasn't a Class 84, however this is a good pick too - Though not something I'll be purchasing, Looking at the photos the finish quality and detail looks phenomenal.
  7. Very much hoping for it to be a Class 84, we need more AC electrics!
  8. Indeed, I would Imagine the cost to import such large models may be high. So far as I'm aware there isn't much of an O gauge scene here anyways, most club layouts are OO/HO. Born in & lived in NZ all my life, I've just got a fascination for British Railways!
  9. Heljan have put out an update on facebook (and on the ROS site) with livery-drawings of the models. Hopefully the decorated samples will follow soon?
  10. Auckland (where I'm located) has a number of model shops that have a decent range of products, though prices here tend to be high enough that I buy the bigger bits mostly from England. There are a number of clubs in the area as well - I'm a part of the Auckland Central Model Railway Club myself, which has quite a sizeable HO American layout, another large OO British layout & a number of N gauge layouts, though no O gauge of any variety.
  11. I've got Paul Chetter's Class 20 ActiveDrive sound file in my 20, sounds brilliant! https://www.digitrains.co.uk/shop-by-product/sound/uk-sound/diesel/class-20/class-20-activedrive-sl.html
  12. Along with no driving trailer, there's still none of the 8 and 12-wheel LMS built sleeping cars!
  13. Now that Accurascale have Steve Purves on board, I'm hoping we might get some more AC electric models, seeing as he led on the development of Bachmann's class 90. (Holding my hopes out for some 304 & 310 EMU's)
  14. Spotted some videos on Rails Of Sheffield's instagram page of Heljan's undecorated samples. Hard to tell without some close-up images, but they look good! Looking forward to E2001 myself.
  15. oooh, spoilers? (Any hints on how close the next reveal is? 😉)
  16. Hoping the next announcement is something midland-themed, fingers crossed there's a new announcement soon - I'm sure that earlier in the year Accurascale mentioned the number of releases they had planned for this year, how many are left to go now?
  17. Was really hoping to see a green 37 with center headcodes. Seems crazy that this hasn't been chosen, especially with the lack of duplication from the competition.
  18. I think it might be the lighting in the photo that makes it look poor? If you have a look at their other split headcode exclusives like D11, 12 or 13, the door recess lines stand out quite well - It's just the bright yellow that hides it.
  19. Pictures of the decorated samples are up on TMC's website, they look excellent!
  20. Has there been any update on this lately? Hoping Peco are still invested in bringing these to market.
  21. Glad to see that this has been announced! When I originally saw the announcement, I was hoping for something that hadn't already been announced, but glad nonetheless. I guess I've gotta buy one now!
  22. Glad to see these! A shame that lined maroon won't be in the first run, but looking forward to buying many when they are finally announced!
  23. Although being banned south of Crewe was the general rule of thumb, I'm sure I've seen a number of photos showing some of these banned classes (Particularly the Coronations) running under the wires?
  24. I'm hoping that they do a re-run of the FFA/FGA freightliner flats - The inner wagons sold out everywhere so quickly! I'd love to see more container varieties, as well as the guards pod from the 60's - Though I suspect the likelihood of this actually being announced is low.
