  1. Glad my new 156’s have arrived and now gives me time to save back up for 142’s and 144’s!
  2. So very happy see that the order book has opened on the 180’s and 175’s! But there’s always a however isn’t there… so apologies but however I’ve got a question or two about the liveries on offer, the GC 180’s 180108 and 180112, are they both post 2018 refurb, as in new logos and newer door labels for cycles and wheelchair spots etc? (I’m assuming 112 is as the green stripe was added after 2018) I ideally want them pre 2018 condition but if neither are in it then would that be an idea for a second batch or am I better just reworking them from the production models? I have filled out an expression of interest and I’m also wondering if the first Barbie livery would be done for a Hull Trains 180 too? Or again if not I’ll do a rework from a GW one. I’m hoping the Northern one gets the go ahead as it was an interesting option although not a reliable one to catch! Thanks Guys!
  3. Did anyone think the countdown clock was the April fools? Maybe there isn’t an announcement at midday? It would be nice to have an announcement but again I can’t see the countdown clock currently.
  4. The description said “put the kettle on 😉“ so it’s either a steam engine or such a large announcement you’ll need a brew while they go through it 🤷‍♂️
  5. Did I imagine there was a closing date for pre orders announced or are they going to be open for a while yet? For some reason I have the 20th March in my head. But I feel as if I’m wrong!

    Modern Mk.1’s

I think the Sir Nigel Greeley support coach was the last one regularly used on the mainline. That’s the only one I can think I’ve seen recently, pre LSG overhaul of course…

    Modern Mk.1’s

You would need to fit some pick ups to the bogies, kits are out there for this. But if your getting those you may as well just pick up a lighting kit with a capacitor. The only issue is turning on and off the lights with your Bachmann Mk2’s. I’m assuming the roof profile will be different between the mk2 and mk1 so not sure how the lights will sit inside the coach… possible but may need tweaking. Swing and roundabouts with buying a decoder and a lighting board vs taking apart a mk2 system.
  8. A question on 66507, will it have what appears to be a green surround on the Freightliner logo? Looking on Flickr I can’t see the green surround on photos, it could well be there in reality but I can’t see a picture of it. I quite like the idea of renumbering it to 506 in a later era, but a green surround would stop that idea? Cheers
  9. I resisted the Hattons ones, after there issues. But now the detail is there and AS will be QC’ing them I think it might be the time to be switching from Bachmann to AS 66’s. Well my eBay will be busy…
  10. Brilliant news! Been hoping for a run of these for a long time and considering what the old run fetch on EBay average £75-100 a wagon then these are a bargain and will fly off the shelves!
  11. I think personally I’d just take some FCA or FKA wagons tbh. They would look very well behind the 92’s! And they haven’t been produced in OO at least! The missing link in EWS/DB intermodal work. The FCA’s run with a range of containers and flat style loads and MOD work along with bin-liner trains. So plenty of options to tool up like the PFA wagons have had!
  12. They only ever did 47245 in a 2010ish condition. So a 47 is likely and if they pick the right one it would be an easy re-number! However a WCRC 37 is unlikely to me, although if they did it I think it would be likely we see 37516/518? I also think this one is more likely to be an AS model seen as they are doing refurbished models in the next batch (applying the logic of 37714 being in the next batch). I think a 57/0 would be nice but since I have a respray of 57006 unless they did 001 then I wouldn’t be interested.
  13. Phew!! Got myself a pack 2! They are live now! PANIC STATIONS!!🤣
  14. Can I add a request for some Yellow ones! I’ve already sold up my Hornby Yellow ones in anticipation. After I saw this line in the description of the other announced models, “Extra cab front details for Network Rail locomotives” so now I’m just waiting to hit an order button that’s not live yet 😑😔 I wouldn’t be able to resist any other modern image additions either…
  15. Ohhh that was Irish Black and Orange, I thought it was a Loadhaul Delitc…
  16. It was only £10 cheaper but when I put my points on as well it became even more of a bargain! On the talk of points, I’ve just saved Accurascale from lost income surely that deserves points too… 😉😉
  17. Sorry everyone! Next time I’ll keep my mouth shut 🤫
  18. I was so close to buying mine with Kernow, that was until all of a sudden I saw Accurascale were selling them at a cheaper price and with the opportunity to gain more points, seems like a no brainier…
  19. In the EFE Thread, Arran seems to say that they are not RT’s tooling nor have they given permission or license to EFE to use there toolings. So that would appear to be a different tooling…
  20. I would also have to guess that the turquoise Anglia Mk.2f’s will appear at some point to go with the DBSO? But sometimes common sense doesn’t prevail…
  21. I would have thought that we will see more 37’s, 47’s and 158’s. The 37’s are likely to be Loadhaul/Mainline or those that will challenge Accurascales already announced models. The 47’s would be nice to see some modern era, Riviera WCRC or ROG or LSL models, I think we will also see RES, Virgin and EWS ones. the 158 I’m hoping will appear in Northern Blue/Purple, but I can imagine it appearing in white/purple and maybe FGW blue, ATW/TFW or northern Spirit.
  22. I had the email from AS saying payment was due on the 20th. Then when I went on the link to pay on the 20th the deadline to settle up hadn’t been moved back.
