    In this case I understand that it is the responsibility of the seller to be registered for UK VAT and pay the VAT directly to HMRC. i.e. you should already have paid the VAT to the seller.

    Unless it's going to the Netherlands in which case standard transit time is 3-5 weeks. It's not Royal Mail's fault but is down to the incompetence of their partner PostNL. I wonder if Royal Mail is aware of the unbelievably poor performance of their business partner.
