Hello Can anyone suggest suitable steam locomotives to run with a Directors Saloon for the 1950’s period and up to the early 60’s. The carriage livery will be crimson / cream. Locos to be in early crest and later emblem.? Are there any photos to support suggestions? Presumably only smaller engines would have been used. Gauge O loco suggestions please Thank you

Heljan are producing a 7 mm directors saloon. Can anyone advise on the following. What locomotives would these have been seen behind in the period 1952-1960.

The photos shown on the Tower models site 003 and 005 have electrification symbols, does this put them into the early 1960's rather than 1950's. I note 002 does not have these ,so is this perhaps the most suitable.

Dapol produced a range of BR standard brake van models in O gauge in various liveries. Each model had its own code. Can someone advise me as to which are suitable for the period 1952-1960.?
