  1. Unfortunately, the NMT won't be ready for York. I was struck down with a lurgy that meant no modelling for the last 10 days or so - preventing the set being finished. DEMU Showcase is the next target.
  2. Deadmans Lane is out at York this coming Easter weekend - we shall see how the full load running tests go....
  3. A quick check tonight and Deadmans Lane is almost ready to roll. The "logistics plan" for the team from five different locations has been finalised. Just a couple of bits of stock to finish a couple of details and packing and then we're good to load up on Friday morning. As DL pretty much only gets fully assembled for exhibitions, we're looking forward to playing trains for three days.
  4. Was 66778 the dodgy loc? If so - it also failed at Ribblehead last week.....
  5. I managed to see and ride them in 2022. I thought I was lucky then, but observation of the electrification progress was obviously well behind schedule then. Particularly on the northern sections. I can't immediately recall, but is the project about 3-4 years late? Albeit some due to covid delays.
  6. Dccconcepts are not Dapol agents. Try DCC Supplies
  7. Jim in charge of 6F69 Ribblehead-Tuebrook today. A nice wave from Jim passing - grabshot from video below.
  8. I'll try and have a play later and report back - thanks!
  9. As the LZV100 is not a basic controller and based upon the findings of @Tony Walker and myself, is there any possibility that the 4-digit addressing issues might be looked at please??
  10. My track is an unrealistic 16.5mm gauge........
  11. Your experiments with the LZV100 concur with mine. Pity about the 2-digit/short addressing as I'm up for 5-6 of the dongles to replace the handsets on mine and the club layouts. Both use LZV 100s.
  12. NCE have two types of consisting, advanced and old. With "old" you can only have two locos and the actual pairing is done in the controller. Advanced sets a CV on the loco and two or more can be controlled together. Lenz is the same, but they call them DH for double head and MU for two locos or more. Don't know about other systems. In advanced/MU mode, you can set CVs on the decoders as to which functions are controlled with F keys. I.e. a single F key will change all locos. But, in both types of consisting, you if you have directional headlights, you need to have the ability to turn off the "inner" set of headlights. Reversing can be a pain, lots of keys to press. As I use my Caz with a dedicated 37, I've isolated the inner lights on both. ( tape over contacts) and called them the same address. Change direction ant the "outer" lights of the 37 and saloon changeover. No messing with extra F keys.
  13. Hi Tony, Thanks, so i't probably something I'm missing. I know the loco works on a long address as I currently have a Multimaus handset plugged in - and I've cross-checked operation of the loco with a Powercab on my test bench. I haven't checked the higher F-key functions yet - just trying to get it to work with long addresses.
