  1. I’m not sure as it just said a job lot of mainly ratio so is possible that some are parkside or other manufacturers Matt
  2. I recently won a job lot of mostly GWR wagons off eBay in need of light repairs. The most common being needing new buffers but unsure of what I need to order. Been looking at mjt for the replacements. wagons are as follows: Ratio Iron Mink A Ratio Toad Brake Van Ratio GWR 20T ballast wagon Ratio GWR Loco coal wagon (potentially a Felix Pole wagon?) Any help is much appreciated Thanks Matt
  3. I want to convert the old ratio iron mink kit into a gwr gunpowder van but an unsure of the livery. Would it just be black under frame and body with a white roof or did they have a special livery? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you Matt
  4. I recently bought a Wills Saint Class white-metal kit off a well known auction website but noticed it hasn't come with the instruction sheet so I was wondering if anyone might have the sheet lying around and could send me a pdf or know where I might be able to find it. Thank you for any help you can give.
  5. Turns out I have the triang repaint not the continental. So if I wanted to repaint it what would be the colour if I wanted to go for a 1950's TPO? And where would I get the paint from?
  6. While going through some old modelling things I found a BR Blue TPO but looking around online the r numbers match to either a Gresley sleeping car, a LMS TPO or a LMS composite coach. So I was wondering if Hornby ever made a TPO in BR blue or if I've just got a repainted version. My plan is to repaint it anyway to early BR days so any help in finding paint matches and transfers would be greatly appreciated, it also has onboard lighting but it needs replacing by the look of it and was wondering what the best way to replace it would be because I would really like to have the lights working on it. Thank You Rai
  7. Thank You very much for the quick reply. It is a good kit and went together really well. So much scope for loading these wagons up so I can have a bit of variety which is good.
  8. I've recently returned to modelling after a few years out and have just finished building the ratio permanent way wagon kit and was wondering whether the ballast wagons included would have carried new ballast or spoil or possibly either?
