  1. Thanks to those who replied to my original request. I have drawn out the circuit and have since used more available components to rebuild the unit. A few of the resistors needed changing to match the new transistor characteristics but all is now functioning.
  2. Having inspected the circuit it must be in the region of at least 50 years old as the transistors are of the OC range. The power transistor is a OC25, the others are partially visible and thought to be OC71.
  3. I have been given the above controller for my boy's to use on their train layout. There is no model number on the case so I can only tell you the functions it has in the hope someone recognizes it's identity. The functions are Main Power and Direct Power ( both variable ) Three switched positions for Braking , one for Coast And a Forward - Reverse switch. The variable output voltage remains at 12v and is un-controllable. Does anyone have a schematic for this, or any other Codar Controller that I can use to repair this unit. Many Thanks Mike
