  1. Hi Phil, Nice to finally meet you at the weekend for a few trips along with 832. I shall make a point of looking in here to see how your progress goes with the 25/1. Cheers Lee
  2. Oh happy days!!!! Nice to see you progressing (rather quickly by the looks of it now). Cheers Lee
  3. Hi Cav, BOT is looking very good. You've added some nice 'every-day' details which make it really stand out. What did you use for the platform retaining walls as they look superb? Now you've got a bit of momentum it would be nice to see you make quite a bit of progress with the build. Cheers Lee
  4. Hi Rod, The 08 seems very much at home on WKT and Steve has done a top job with the Railtec numbers. I think they look absolutely spot on! It's been said before but credit where credit is due - the houses forming the backdrop are absolutely superb. Once bedded in you will have a layout that must surely be worthy of an appearance in one of the Model Rail mags, or in the Guild mag. Your last set of pictures show your high standard of modelling skills. Please keep us up to date with the developments as it's always good to see WKT updates. Cheers Lee
  5. Nice work on the wagons Phil. Especially like the Bolster. A full rake of those would look extremely good Cheers Lee
  6. Hi Mike, I never realised that they were a different size..... I was letting the positioning go Cheers Lee
  7. Ahhh you prefer 40's in this livery? Cheers Lee
  8. Hi Peter, Is that large -logo livery.... without the logo? Cheers Lee
  9. Hi Peter, That is stunning modelling!!! I have no idea how you do that in 4mm..... I struggle in 7mm. Super detailing and some very authentic mods. Cheers Lee
  10. Hi Paul, It looks like you'll need to cut the extra headboard brackets from the nose doors then: https://www.flickr.com/photos/59835095@N02/6266258854/in/photolist-rojqmM-agBTvu-fjHVCX-avFfJW-dy7dgU-9dXmiF-fjHs1F-feoa64-bjc1iB-dygEFh-dAZ6BX-axJdrL-axFuP4 But at least you don't need to remove one set of double arrows!! Cheers Lee
  11. Hi Paul, Nice acquisition Looks like there's a few mods to do... especially those roof access panel handles (they're on the wrong way around). Which number will this be? Cheers Lee
  12. If you look underneath the body where the boiler water tank is you'll spot the engine bay drain pipework that was fitted to the Haymarket 40's.. yet another bit to add Cheers Lee
  13. Hi Lee, Top work as always!!! Will you be adding the extra headboard brackets to the front of 122 (either side of the doors)? Cheers Lee
  14. Thanks for the quick reply Brian. Those Modelmates look like something to try... you've certainly made a good job on the van/ wagon ends Cheers Lee
  15. Hi Brian, That rust/ weathering looks superb. What did you use? Cheers Lee
  16. Merry Christmas Phill, Hopefully we will get a chance to catch up in 2017. I had hoped it might have been on 1015's railtour in Feb.... but as 1015 went bang last Saturday, I guess not Cheers Lee
  17. Hi George, That is seriously impressive!! But I'm wondering, how are you getting the dimensions so that it looks so right? Cheers Lee
  18. Hi George, You're welcome. Maybe a deviation in the modelling era isn't a bad thing and I guess with Christmas upon us, maybe taking a bit of time out is a good thing too. Whatever you do I'm sure it will be appreciated here by those that read your thread. I'll certainly look forward to seeing diesels running amidst a depot Cheers Lee
  19. Hi George, I really hope that you manage to re-kindle your interest again... having just re-numbered your 08 I thought you'd be on a bit of a roll and would have started laying some track to run it on. Your thread is great to watch with loads of superb builds and I'm sure you're an inspiration to many on here. Cheers Lee
  20. Hi Paul, I've been following this thread and I'm looking forward to watching the build. Perhaps I've missed it but I can't recall the baseboard size that you will be using, this is going to be quite a size I guess? Cheers Lee
  21. Hi Al, I have only just found this thread and have spent the last hour or so reading through it in its entirety. My only comment echoes those made already.... wow, what a stunning example of exemplary modelling. I'm sorry to hear of the problems that you had at Warley but I am sure that the majority of the visitors viewing your model were so bowled over by the enormity of Remagen that they will not have noticed, nor cared, about any technical glitches. An utterly brilliant thread. Thanks for posting and keeping us up to date with your progress. Cheers Lee
  22. Hi Rich, Wow your track building is seriously impressive. You are making it look so easy... and I'm sure it is not. Have you thought about staining the timbers prior to assembly at all? Cheers Lee
  23. Hi Lee, Nice collection of motive power!! With 40164, don't forget it was one of the Haymarket based 40's that didn't have the cab roof vents: 40164 Newcastle by Andy Hoare, on Flickr I have no idea how you find time to build a depot as well as all the locos you deal with Cheers Lee
  24. Phwoah!! 1015 sounds good, was that recorded at Blaunau Ffestiniog or on the SVR Phil?? What's to tidy on Western Prince... looks excellent to me Thanks for posting the vid. Cheers Lee
