Hi Courtybella Further to you post above, our information on Google is correct, the opening times refer to the telephone lines and delivery. As can be seen by the red cross next to In-store shopping, this is not available. Our website shows all the correct detailed information. There is also a Google post, flagged as Covid-19 update, which is shown on Google by clicking on the 'Updates from Model Railways Direct' link, which reads: The Collection Point and Sales Counter will remain closed until Wednesday April 28th 2021. From April 28th our Collection Point and Sales Counter will be open between 1pm and 4pm on Wednesday & Fridays ONLY. We continue to offer products for delivery, orders can be placed through our website and over the telephone. The telephone lines remain open Tuesday to Friday 10am to 4pm. It is unfortunate that you did not check our own website for information or see the red cross next to the In-store shopping on Google before starting your journey. We always try to update third party information, such as Google, however we do not have full control over what is shown and would always recommend checking our own website for the latest information. Coronavirus We continue to process all internet, telephone and mail orders as normal, however our shop will be temporarily closed to all visitors until further notice. At Model Railways Direct we take our responsibility for our employees and customers welfare seriously and have been following the government advice regarding Coronavirus closely. The latest government advice is that we all should avoid non-essential contact with others and, were possible, work from home. After careful consideration we've decided that the most effective way to protect our employees and customers is temporarily close the shop premises to visitors until further notice. Any customers with outstanding ‘collect in store’ orders will be contacted to discuss alternatives over the next few days. All internet, mail and telephone orders will continue to be processed as normal during this time and we will continue to receive deliveries from our suppliers. We appreciate that this may be inconvenient for some of our customers who prefer to shop in store, however in these uncertain times we hope that you understand that safety of our employees and customers have to be our priority.
