  3. I use an Android app called "Randomiser" to sort the order of wagons on my O gauge shunting micro. Free to download, simple to use and completely random!
  4. May be set to 28 speed steps instead of 128. I've had that with a few new decoders of different brands. Take care.
  5. Rowcroft were amazing when my mum passed away with cancer 2 years ago - so supportive to both my mum and my dad. My sister in law says they are the poshest charity shop in Torbay!
  6. O gauge in 4' x 1' - Cambridge sidings - my O gauge micro which is great fun to operate! The senior scale has really bitten me, its so solid and you really feel you are building something when assembling kits, etc. For the last few years, all my layouts have been 4' x 1' micros with plans for OO diesel depot and branch terminus micros to be built in the next couple of years.
  7. From empty yard to full yard - Cambridge sidings. Now available for exhibitions 🙂
  8. Excellent few hours at the exhibition today. Great selection of layouts and traders and big size trains! Thanks to everyone involved 🙂
  9. On my 105s and 108s I soldered small wires from the pickups which solved the issue as it seemed that the interference fit was not reliable.
  10. Going to EUFMO and the MRC shows at Central Hall were highlights of my youth. A ride to London on a class 310, tube across central London then a day watching model railways - happy memories and have shaped my life in so many ways.
  11. Good man, that’s positive news 👍 Stay strong and remember we are all here to encourage you 🙂
  12. Like the ARC wagons, what paint and transfers did you use please 🙂
  13. Parked up for the weekend in the spring sunlight....
  14. I use a thin coat of Vallejo satin varnish applied with a brush, then weather as required followed by a final spray of matt varnish from an airbrush to seal everything.
  15. During the period the 321s were replacing the 317s on the WCML, there were some interesting combinations. Here, 321403 and 317335 form the 0656 Bletchley to Euston service on 1 August 1989. My photos.
