  1. Thereby denying William the Conquerer a cop in his Ye olde Sir Ian of Allan combined volume by 50 years. Can't remember what grade I got in History. As for the picture, I've stopped licking the screen now...
  2. I understand them to be a red/brown colour......but don't quote me on that.
  3. If you model winter with all the snow you won't have to line anything.......there's a thought.....Sandy in winter...with fog...at night..
  4. Yeh right.......pull the other one ....were they queuing for your bird feeder
  5. I also use Andrew at Wizard for a lot of stuff, very good service.
  6. In the smoking compartments which GN pattern ashtray are you using....................
  7. Warley....he relieved me of about £50 And I've used half of it already!
  8. That is less than I thought it might be, my guess was the RRP might be nearer the £6 mark with traders selling for £4.50-75. It is 40% more than the current range at that price. I like the product but I would still have had to go down the route I have, as the Peco geometry just doesn't fit with what I am trying to achieve.
  9. It wasn't quiet acceptance, I was in the wrong and wasn't paying attention. If you think that's morally superior then I'm fine with it, as I have no problem looking down on you.
  10. Agree, I order direct by phone and pay by debit card, items arrive within 2-3 days, very good service.
  11. Saturated fat chicken nuggets, the chav mums favourite. I showed this to Lady Bacon and when she stopped laughing she just said "Why didn't she cut her own from a potato or make some mash and use a piping bag (plastic bag with the corner cut off) to write"
  12. Now if ever there was an example needed for a sanctimonious post, this would be it. Hit a nerve - no Desperate - no Amused -yes You say you're boring.....never... I still say speeding fines are voluntary, I've been stopped once in 1993(?) at 3.30am in Takeley, I had been working nights and hadn't seen the 30 sign as not paying enough attention, it was partly obscured by a tree which the following day was trimmed by the local authority and like others caught that night I could have argued but I didn't and paid the fine (£270) and took the points (6). I still drive fast but mainly on dual carriageways/motorways but keep to the limits in other areas. I know of quite a few who are always on 6-9 points from being caught and moan all the time about speed limits and how they are wrong but all they have to do is slow down a bit. Still a morally superior viewpoint for you.
  13. I have no problem in questioning the law, but I don't see how breaking it and getting fined does anything to change it. Do you think that if everyone did, the law would change ? look at mobile phone usage while driving, although many still break the law are we lowering the penalty or increasing it.
  14. Plenty, but you'll only get even moodier than you already are. But for an accurate supposition I would say that Sanctimonious actually suits you rather well.
  15. To beat the competition and keep market share for the track itself.
  16. I checked and there's enough letters there to spell thick. To be fair to her she's from Dunstable and when you're that close to Luton some things have to rub off. There is a guided busway between Dunstable and Luton and the general concensus is that it stops people taking another route and forcing them that way.
  17. Ignore driving/speeding and apply that logic to any other offence. I must re-think why we were burgled, it wasn't that what the burglar did was against the law, it was because he was actually furthering the cause of shared ownership by redistributing my wealth because he didn't agree with the draconian idea of boundaries and property.
  18. This was posted earlier, they are what I've used with Exacto with good results.
  19. If you're interested I have some cement in an offshore island that I can release to you, just forward $25,000,000 and a copy of Razzle to..........
  20. Not really. All speeding fines are voluntary. Everyone I know who's been fined starts the conversation with "the speed limit is too low for the road" or " they only put a camera there to raise money" each time they know the speed limit but don't slow down. I just wish that if anyone gets caught, they cough up and accept they c*cked up instead of trying to wriggle out of it.
  21. I see where you're coming from with this post as I have seen other attempts by individuals to sell items through their topics either deleted or locked as they should go through Buy & Sell which helps pay for this site. But if Andy/Warners are happy then that's their decision. I've also sold on behalf of a widow who with frozen accounts needed the money from the sale of items and I sold through the original classifieds here which were free. When it moved to Buy & Sell I also sold through there but as most of the expensive items had gone it meant it was free as they were under £30.
  22. This comment as a comparison to the NRM's changes in production.
