  1. Just a quick update the lads at Model Railway Solutions have just completed a new extension to the shop and now have a massive stock of new Noch scenery products, other items to follow.
  2. New Models listed on Oxford Web Site In 1/76 vehicles include Ford Transit Van London Dockland railways, Ford Transit Crew cab/pickup body dropside Stobart Rail, JCB 7 track loader and Red Combine Harvester. Plus other cars vans wagon in various scales.
  3. Model Railway Solutions Shop opens on Monday 4/9/2017 its on the old site of Platform Models shop and has had a major refit and will be stocked with new and old products. The shop is at Unit 1,10-12 Alder Hills, Poole, Dorset BH12 4AL..
  4. More images now showing on Oxfords web, church and pub look good and great value.

  6. If you look on Oxford Diecast web site home page and go to bottom right box Oxford Diecast 1.76 press view it shows 4 buildings with price. GWR water tower £24.99, Hazel Cottage (not pub) £29.99 and both shops are £26.99
  7. The Albion is in Coca Cola livery and packaging with no sign of Oxford Diecast on front view. Also shown is a Scania 94D curtainside in Coca Cola livery with same style of packaging. You can find pictures on Facebook site
  8. Hope these pictures are a help, Southdown ticket office is new not incurrent release programme. Also had a nice chat with Taff today asked about them doing a skip wagon it would depend on demand, so if you what them to do one you need to let them know.
  9. Do remember that these 205 are not the only items to have been discounted by Bachmann in the last week. I have got various 205 over the years all at different price both Bachmann & DC kits, yes I would like 3 car unit. I would like to thank Kernow for build a ready to run model.

  11. Most of the newly announce new models are now listed on Oxford Diecast web site pages, go to each scale and then all page to find them. However I could not see listed new flat-bed and low-loader trailers in 1/76 scale list, it is late or early morning.

  15. Hornby Shop site are still showing BR 2 BIL R3162 '2142' set for £59.99 and this price includes postage.
  16. Just been looking at new list could we be lucky with the Daf 105 Skeletal Trailer Freightliner. Is this a new casting of a 3 axle skeletal trailer ?, when looking at previous Oxford lists container trailers have always been described as combi trailer (D-Tec) lets hope its the basic 3 axle version seen on the roads more than the combi types.

For all you modellers who live in the Poole, Bournemouth & Christchurch area, Platform Models have now reopen a new shop in the same premises as Model Railway Solutions at Unit 1, 10-12 Alder Hills, Poole, Dorset BH12 4AL, tel 01202 798068. Opening hours Tue - Sat 10am to 5pm, here my tip of the day its in walking distance from Sainsbury store at Wallisdown. Called in today and they already have a good selection of N & OO stock both new and old.

  19. Just been looking on www.eddiestobartmodels.com site and they are showing some nice looking vehicles due soon from Oxford via Atlas first. I notice the trailer being pulled by DAF2800 is also new design, its tandem axle curtain sider looks to be around 35 to 40 feet long?. As for the Scania 8 legger with crane in rail colours, well.

  21. Wikipedia shows the Commando truck that I was talking about 'Dodge 100 Commando' built during the 1970s & 1980s.
  22. Pictures are now on Facebook pages, one shows the RAF Commer Commando and it is the coach version not the 70's/80's truck. Would have been nice if it was the truck version as they were used by BR, GOP and Post Office.
  23. You Tube has new videos of Oxford Diecast release for the next year in both n & 00 gauge. Showing bulker trailer and stacker lift loader, see in the background looks to be ERF artic cab for Atlas.
  24. Just seen picture of Oxford Diecast 1/43 Merc Sprinter ice Cream van with Mercedes star in front grille panel on Facebook. With a comment from Taff saying this will be scale down to 1/76.
