Easy to weather, easy to cut and paint as required. Two layers of it bring it up to track height.m and one layer fills in the infill nicely.

Just need to drag my arse into gear to do the hardstanding ground!
Happy New Year!
They look good Jack. Regarding the hardstanding, Fab Foam from Hobbycraft works well and is cheap!

Thanks everyone for the support ☺️
I think I get a desk in the room of the shared house on the reserve so potentially opportunity for some bits and bobs on various
It might be a contender for most scenic modelling desk as almost all the rooms in the house look out onto the main lake on the reserve! 🦢🦢
They seem to have gone a little out of style at the moment but would a box file or IKEA Knagglig box layout be an option? Perhaps the insides of a shed would give something to display your locos on?

Great to see. I still struggle to believe that it is all enclosed on an Ikea Lack, similarly with Juniper Hill, it looks so much bigger - I don't know how you do it!

Alice, Nesta and Dorothea just ordered from Derails. Once I've figured this cab removal lark out I feel there will be some hybrids on the way!
I’m planning on amending my Britomart into Maid Marian.

Hard to believe it’s the same base layout Luke. Great work and the industrial buildings look the perfect shade of blue. Well done!

If you’re clever with words and you re-wrote the poem “the Night before Christmas” to include a train set. I wouldn’t mind. I’d love it in fact.
Sounds like a great challenge!

With regards to the dimensions of Stoke Doyle it is a standard IKEA Lack 110cm x 26cm shelf.
Is that the scenic area or including fiddle yards? Very interesting, I’ve got a spare one of them sat in the loft doing very little…
Thanks, looking forward to seeing more!

Sad news, gave me lots of advice as a young modeller and always gave a warm welcome to his shop.
Rest in peace.

Lovely shots Luke.
Am I the only person who misread one of the vans as ‘The Maltesers Association of Great Britain’ ? Now that’s an association I’d join in a shot!
Great work, enjoying your progress.
