About Me

I am a novice modeller having been collecting enough OO rolling stock over the last thirty years to start my own shop. I retired in 2011 and having been a Captain of large passenger/freight "cruise" ferries, I have found little time until now to start a layout. About ten years ago I converted my loft space into a living space with one of the resulting rooms being designated the railway room. Construction has now begun. The layout is called Wormdale which is an amalgam of all things Millers Dale/Chinley and Peak Forest (I'm from Buxton) and it is set in the 1950s.
