My layout has been working well for a while, but now part of the layout keeps tripping out on the main line over the top of the freightliner depot. as soon as I connect the main line it trips out I have not changed anything I have cleaned the whole layout but has not solved the problem. as you can see by the photos were it says main line that is were the problem starts the station area is ok also the freightliner depot. just the main line that the 60 is on can anyone help me to solve this many thanks
  3. Just to say many thanks for all the answers to my problem, But I managed to find the problem a bad mistake made by me it was the two wires to my busbar which when attached to the track were round the wrong so problem solved.
  4. Thanks for reply, I have not coloured coded the wires , all i have done is put the wires into the seep motor as per the letters on it D and E for the polarity of the point motor I have changed the wires around but still a fault,
  5. I have looked into this before, but i am still having a problem, i have now changed my points and put in a seep P1 motor to the two points see enclosed photos, i attached the points to the layout with ins, fishplates as per the photo, but as soon as i put a loco over the track it tripped out. The two points are wired into the bus bar , and when you put a loco onto them without being attached to the layout no problem . I have even changed the two wires around D and E on the seep motor but no difference .any info will be of great help, many thanks.

  11. when I put my 00 gauge class 37 on the line the lights work and also it powers. but I get no sound from it, I have reprogramed it as well but still no sound can someone tell me what I can do to fix this. many thanks.
  12. yes I have done the points as the v isolated and the outer live. I have done the points so as to operate on ddc
  13. can someone give me some advice as I am having a small problem with the track on the small shed siding., when I join the track to the main line it trips out, so I put two iso joints in the middle. and it worked alright, but as soon as I sent a loco over the iso part the loco made it trip out. on my points I have made the v of the point isolated and the two outer live on all the points. in the diagrams enclosed. . I must be doing something wrong with the way the points are made up on the branch, my layout is ddc .
