  1. Always good to see further progress on this master piece I’m sure H&S will be happy to see that you have the safety of the brewery staff as a top priority 👍👍👍👍
  2. I am building a large 0 gauge layout and have found the Lenz DCC system is perfect for operating in this gauge . The recent addition of the wireless hand throttle has been a massive advance to the system
  3. It beggars belief that the people who come up with these plans for housing estates and the planning authorities that then allow the building to take place still never seem to learn that this sort of thing occurs. Maybe Network Rail should send the bill to the local planning authority for causing the land slip ………
  4. Some nice pictures of the Class 25 and I would agree that the Paul Chetter sound file is the best on the market of all Loco types
  5. Ref Heljan spares I have often bought spares from GM without any ongoing issues. However I was surprised to hear the other day that Heljan do not supply GM with any screws or metal parts and this has been the case since GM took over the spares supply. I’ve been trying to source the long screws that secure the body of the 0 gauge locos to the chassis which considering the weight involved are fairly vital components. I’m a big fan of Heljan 0 gauge locomotives but do find the lack of backing from this manufacture somewhat frustrating.
  6. The Royal Mail around our area is getting really bad I've been told by our postie that we are now only getting deliveries every other day because there are no staff to do the deliveries ....
  7. Thanks for the pictures of Crown Street Tunnel fascinating area and very historic
  8. I saw the black version on Tuesday night on a friends layout and was very impressed by the straight out of the box running performance. Generally very pleased with the long awaited model but I have to agree with others comments ‘Bling’ was the first thing that came into my mind. I never saw an ex-works example personally the ones I saw around the Chester area were very uncared for and I’m sure my normal weathering skills will put the model into the right state of appearance.
  9. I saw this at the Guild show at Stafford what a cracking layout just goes to show what can be achieved in 7mm
  10. If you did that you might have massive flash over ⚡️
  11. Hi Jim you mentioned a slate train to Bescot just as a matter of interest where does this train start from ?
  12. If only the power’s that be hadn’t sold it what amazing preservation locomotive it would have been 👌
  13. I’ve found that 6ft radius is quite tight for that type of Loco and I personally make 7ft my preferred minimum radius
  14. It’s to make sure it’s not the real thing
  15. Enjoy the time off with the family Jim ……I think you deserve it 🤩
  16. Fabulous work continues on this brewery can’t wait to taste the first pint gentlemen 🍺
  17. He was at Barnsley 0 gauge meet a couple of weeks ago
  18. I think the guys fixing the door have inside information about Dr Beeching
  19. I’ve just opened this thread and it took me back to June 14th 🤣 the content is interesting enough to view again so I’m not too bothered , but something in the back of my mind thinks it’s just in case we have missed one of those irritating adverts 🥴🤐
  20. You can’t beat a ‘Graze at Greggs’ 🤣
  21. Travelled down from Cheshire on Saturday and had a wonderful and enjoyable day. This is only the second time I have attended 'Railex', the first was to see Iain Rice's Cameo competition and I was very glad I did as it enlightened me to the very high quality show that is put on. This show is now down as a 'must do show' every year as in my humble opinion its the 'Best in the Country' Many thanks to The Princess Risborough team for their efforts
  22. Some of those Class 70’s are starting to ‘Clag’ a bit as they’re getting older
  23. An excellent video Andy you have really works miracles on the station area where there wasn’t really any room for one ….. amazing what can be achieved with a little carefully worked bodgery 🤪 I have to say that what really spoilt the video was and it wasn’t your fault was the advert for dogs with flees that kept encroaching into the viewing scene what a load of !!!!!! This site really is being totally ruined by this invasion of adverts which I know are there to help fund the site but do they have to be so intrusive 😡
  24. Morning Rod well impressed with the progress on the narrow gauge and it’s good that you are taking on a new challenge and enjoying the journey. I have to take my hat off to you as it all looks a bit fiddly something my clumsy fingers wouldn’t cope with. WKT is looks superb as usual excellent .
