Started my interest in railways in 1980 at the age of 7, became a full time "basher" in 1986 through to 1989, retired from bashing and modelling aged 16 and completely from railways apart from the odd 50 railtour until 1991.

Then got back interested 20 years later, and as such decided to build a West Country 4mm layout in the garage....
