Not alot of info Downendian - but 45071 was 1V71 - then came back on PZ-BNS 1M74 on this day RE Marker lights - if your list is correct 46049 was exactly the same as well! 45071 coming out 31/12/75 (but may have lurked at Derby till the New Year) - 46049 release date 28/2/76 Nick -

Been checking the Rail Observers' for that time period - the only notes were just the set No 253021 i'm afraid. Initially looked at 1976 by mistake and found a few Test train details from Derby to Morpeth etc. I'll copy them down and post if you haven't got the info already.
