  3. Hi Leon... I agree with Georgie... The Building Doors look great with the Yellow Round it... All looking great matey... Keep up the fine work dude... Also Regarding the H&S that Georgie mentioned about... Do they catch you falling when you made the scratch, which I cant see. Have you filled in the H&S Book so you can make the claim, and with the money get the rest of the Layout built...? LOL... Jamie
  4. Hi Leon That water tank look superb... look fab or rusted up... One of the best ive seen... Jamie
  5. Hi Mate Love the photos and the way you have cut the base top out where not needed, is that to make them lighter for transporting to exhibitions in the future...? Layout that??™s done so far looks great, keep the photos coming... Jamie
  6. Hi Leon Love the Track that been taken up and the pile of stacked track and sleepers at the end, all weathered... looks great mate. Jamie
  7. Hi Brian Nice work on the progress of the layout with good strong base board that should last the test of time. Wish I have the same amount of space. I take it there is going to be some kind of viaduct in the one corner...? I look forward with interest of the progress and the regular updates of photos... It great to see a new layout from the start and to see it transform into the lively layout with plenty of atmosphere, just like Dave's Waverly West's... Warm Regards Jamie
  8. Hi to All Peter as been busy trying to get this layout up and running and managed to test it with some rolling stack...etc Enjoy these latest photos and feel free to ask Peter and Question about the layout and any of the stock on it... Regards Jamie
  9. Hi Dave Just like to say I love your latest uploads of photos and I have to say the Deltic in the station is my favourite shot... But the other are great to... I like the road scene with the traffic As always great layout, love the photos and keep them coming...! Thanks again... Jamie
  10. Hi to ALL These are some photo shots of the early days when the Main Building that Peter as spent many hours on was first put together, before it was finished with all the paints and the weathered look, but the end result looks fantastic. Notice on the First photo shot which is the finished out come and the layout having its first public appearance and was completed with all the buildings and the main building which can be scene on the left as you look down the 28 foot layout. All praise goes to Peter for his many hours spent and the tedious work involved creating this superb layout of Great Tunsley Dale layout... Regards Jamie
  11. Hi to ALL Just a few more Photos taken of the layout when Pete had it up, Pete you do and grand job... Regards Jamie
  12. Question to Brian What neck of the woods is this place and I take it you work here... These are good photos to replicate on a layout in part.... Cheers Jamie
  13. Hi Leon If it's Concrete you want...then use Textured Paint, just paint it on the building walls and it as bits in it that will give the look and feel of concrete, just not as coarse of sand paper... Try that...they both look really good, Peter in our model club uses it all the time and looks great. Regards Jamie
  14. Hi Leon I agree with the other comment about the grass Quote "sprinkle then blow up a balloon, rub on your chest then drift it over the grass and hey presto it all stands up....!" that is a great idea; I??™ll have to give that a go. Have you tried using "Sand Paper" to represent "Pebbled Dash" on a building or house, then paint it looks and feels like the real thing... Thanks again Jamie
  15. Hi Dave What is the Bachman Code for the "couplings to the Bachmann long type" and also the Bachmann code for the wheels as I was planning on doing the couplings next. Cheers for the previous information Regards JAMIE
  16. Hi Dave You said about work being done on the MK2d's... Are these Airfix...? as I've been looking for new wheels as the Flanges are to wide on my Airfix when going over Code 75 track points, and I have about 25+ Airfix coaches and I don't know if it??™s cheaper to sell the Airfix or buy from new, I prefer Bachmann or Hornby will do...? But would have to be Mk2D's...! Regards Jamie
  17. Hi Leon Great photos of the Lorries and the loading bays for them...the weathering looks brilliant to...! Regards Jamie
  18. Hi KEVIN Thanks for the latest updates of photo's...they look great, I love all the night scenes you do and the Weathering looks great to...Thanks again...! Regards JAMIE
  19. Hi Leon You say you have "sprayed the track work with sleeper grime" you will need to clean the track with a track cleaner like the PECO one to take all the paint/dirt of the top of the rail, as its just poor power pickup now because of the weathering of the track you have done, it should run fine after that. We had the same problems when I weathered the track, if you have point work then only clean the parts the wheels touch and not the rails that just help the wheels go through the Frog on the point work. Regards JAMIE
  20. Hi mate Are the "CCTV" camera's in the steelworks...are these scratch built or are they made by and produced by someone...if so who? Many Thanks Jamie
  21. Hi Kevin Nice to see some Class 73s on the layout...they look great...! Love all your night scenes, they look superb...! Regards Jamie
  22. Hi Dave Hope you had a Great Christmas & New Year... Looks pretty fantastic seeing "Waverley West" as one large layout, Does that mean we have a chance of it appearing at some model exhibition in the near future....? Amazingly, looking at the photos, just how small it all looks now... seeing it from a long distant shot of the entire layout on a single photo. Yet when you upload your photos of one particular area of your layout, it??™s always gave the impression that the layout was huge... saying that I know it is long because of the lengths of the Rake of coaches you pull on your layout. What is the overall size of the layout...? Do you have plans to expand it... and Is this a ???U??? Shape layout... or is it a Chaser and always has been? Well done in all your achievments and of course the wide view photos shots of the layout...? Warm Regards Dude Jamie
  23. Hi All Love this layout and the photos that have been taken in black & White and also the same photo taken in colour to, makes a difference in B&W... kind of modern day mixed with the olden days when cameras had negatives...! Lovely layout... Keep the photos coming... there great...! Regards Jamie
  24. Hi there Nice to see this one and its progression slowly developing... I will have to keep my eye on this layout, love the pictures of the Loco's and the graffiti seems to be plentiful... Regard Jamie
